For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved traveling. Driving up and down the East Coast, long car rides, family gatherings, and sand between my toes.
As soon as I got my first real job, I knew I was going to see the world. It started with beaches and the Caribbean.
A friend introduced the idea of going to Europe, and I pulled the trigger. Why not? Six months later, we were traveling to four Eastern European countries.
This was the most expensive trip I’ve ever taken, and also one of the most challenging. I enjoyed everything. The sights, the food 😍, the culture, and the experiences.
The experiences were incredible, but this trip also came with some challenges behind the scenes. It reminded me that even the best moments in life can come with real-life complications.
In total, I spent about $4,000 on flights, hotels, and transportation, plus another $1,500 on food and souvenirs.
The experiences were unforgettable, but I’ve been conflicted about posting these pictures for the past month for personal reasons. I didn’t want to paint a picture that felt false or incomplete.
I never imagined I would see places like Germany or Switzerland before learning how to budget. Managing money changed everything. It gave me the ability to experience life, move freely, and choose myself.
I’ll share a breakdown of what I spent in each country so you know what to plan for.
If you’ve ever wanted to travel abroad and experience Europe, I absolutely recommend it. It will shift your perspective on America & traveling all together!
Let me know in the comments, whats a place you have always wanted to explore? & Lets see how we can make it happen for you!
