Two races. Two poles. A win and a runner-up.

Safe to say, Coletrain had that DMSG Super Heavy kart ROLLING. 😮‍💨🔥

In the first race, Coletrain put it on the pole and never looked back - leading every lap on his way to the win. 🏁

Pro Super Heavy gave us a little more of a show.
Coletrain started on the pole and led the first 9 laps before falling back to 3rd. But he wasn't done. He went back to work, battled his way into 2nd, and was closing in when the checkered flag came out… Just ran out of laps to make a run at the lead. 👀
Still, it was one heck of a race and a strong drive from start to finish.

Two poles. Led laps in both races. A win. A hard fought 2nd. That's a solid weekend of racing. 👊🔥🏁

Coletrain is a wheelman. Give him something fast and he’ll put it to work. 💪🏁

Doug had Speed all weekend Hurricane Creek Raceway

Started 4th ➡️ WINNER 🏆

Qualified 12th ➡️ Finished 4th

Doug was absolutely COMING in Clone Heavy Warm up. He had the fastest lap of the race and was hunting down the leader. We needed a caution to bunch the field back up, but Unfortunately, it never came.

Pro Medium brought a little more excitement. After a pretty aggressive brake check from the leader disrupted Doug's run to the finish. He still came home 2nd & when you look at the numbers, Doug had the fastest lap of the race.

The results were solid, but the stopwatch told the real story this weekend. ⏱️🔥

BLUEBERRY BLOWOUT 🫐🏁 | DRIVER SPOTLIGHT: MACY STATON

Okayyyy, Macy Staton came to Hurricane Creek on a MISSION. 🔥
This girl was absolutely incredible all weekend, pulling double duty in Jr. 2 AND Jr. 3 & she was FAST in both.

🏁 Jr. 2 Warm-Up

Then went on to win by an entire straightaway.

The Jr. 3 Pro race was… interesting.

Macy had the lead when a caution came out. On the restart, the 2nd place kart jumped the start before the green and was able to get underneath her and take the lead.

Then, with only a few laps remaining, that same kart wrecked - but was given his P2 spot back rather than being sent to the rear.

So, we lined them back up and went at it again.

And once again… he jumped the start before the green and got underneath Macy. 😅

But here’s our favorite part…

Even after ALL of that, Macy was STILL coming. 🔥

With the leader protecting the bottom through the closing laps, Macy went searching for another way around and nearly made the pass AROUND THE OUTSIDE. TWICE. 😮‍💨🔥

Why the outside?

Well… when the bottom is being guarded like it contains state secrets, you find another way. 😂

Macy crossed the line 2nd in Pro Jr. 3, ending what was 🤏 THIS CLOSE to being a MS*4* CLEAN SWEEP.

Three wins.
Three poles.
One runner-up.

Whatever the finishing sheet says, there was no question who had one of the fastest karts on the property this weekend.

What a weekend for Dirty Money Speed Group! 🏁🔥

This weekend we headed to Tony Stewart Speedway in Indiana, where over 600 entries rolled through the gates at the Midwest Race Of Champions. We came ready to race, and our crew left it all on the track.

Qualifying:
🏁 Brian started us off with 1 pole and an 8th-place qualifying effort.

🏁 Macy was on a mission, grabbing 2 poles. Unfortunately, while searching for every ounce of speed, she sent it just a little too hard and wasn't able to make the Pro Purple feature. Instead of letting a great set of tires sit in the trailer, we handed them over to John Henslee, and he put them to work with an impressive 2nd place finish! Congratulations, John!

🏁 We moved Sawyer up to the Green Plate division this weekend, and he answered the challenge by qualifying pole in both classes!

🏁 Shay gave himself some work to do after qualifying 2nd, 3rd, 12th, and 13th but that's exactly what he did

Feature Results:
🏆 Macy brought home the wins in Junior Sportsman Champ and Purple Plate!

💥 Brian never got the opportunity to show what he had after getting caught up in wrecks in both of his feature races.

💰 Shay started 3rd in the Clone 375, took the lead on Lap 2, and never looked back, driving away with the 40-lap, $5,000 payday!

Sawyer's weekend may have been our favorite story.

His first Green Plate race didn't hit the track until midnight. Starting from the pole, he led the opening laps and stretched his lead to nearly half a straightaway before a caution erased it. After the restart he fought hard but couldn't quite recover, bringing home a 9th place finish against a tough 20 kart field.

Then came Race #2...

Scheduled around 1:00 AM, our little racer had officially clocked out. 😴 We tried everything to wake him up, but he wasn't having it. Sometimes being seven years old wins over race day, and honestly, we couldn't blame him!

A shoutout goes to our rookie Red Plate driver, Waylon. He stayed on the track, finished his race, and that's a win for a rookie. Every lap is building confidence, and we're seeing improvement every time he climbs behind the wheel. Keep putting in the work, buddy. The speed will come! 👊🏁

We can't say enough good things about Tony Stewart Speedway. The racing surface was incredible, the facility was great, and we had an absolute blast. We'll definitely be back.
