Milers Summer Trail Race Series Kicks Off Tuesday, June 9

The popular trail run/walk series at Whitaker Woods starts Tuesday, June 9 at 5:30pm for its 21st season!

You can pre-register online now! Available through Monday, June 8.

Thanks to the support of our primary sponsor Mountain Sports , participant sponsor Sun & Ski Sports, and our generous community, this event remains completely free. Donations to the White Mountain Milers Scholarship Fund are always welcome and appreciated.

See you Tuesday, June 9 and don’t forget to pre-register for the event to skip the day-of registration line! Plus, two $25 gift certificates from S**o River Brewing Taphaus will be drawn for those who pre-register! Must be in attendance the first week to be eligible to win.

It’s Scholarship Season!

Steve and I had the great pleasure of presenting 15 scholarships to graduating athletes and community-minded students from Fryeburg Academy Athletics and Kennett High School- New Hampshire.

Congratulations to our 10 Kennett High School recipients in alphabetical order: Gabriella Cubero, Charles Doherty, Jeweliana Gorham, Myra Johnston, Demond Kerls, Finn Lajoie, Michael Lyons, William O’Dell, Grace Sanfilippo, and Grace Yannelli!

And congratulations to our Fryeburg Academy recipients: Jacob Eveleth, Sally Baptista, Eden True, and Ellie Coombs!

Each scholarship recipient will also receive a free Miler’s Annual Registration. We hope some of them will join us on a Tuesday this summer at Whitaker so we can meet the next generation of Milers!

The votes are in - We're looking forward to featuring Deb Samia's Art on this year's Half Marathon shirts!

Deb is a NH native residing in the Valley for over 30 years. You may recognize her works from features on Squam Brewing and White Mountain Winery labels. Deb has taken up an impressive challenge to paint her surroundings each day of 2026.

Upon selection, Deb also shared "I have always been in awe of the positivity that the White Mountain Milers bring to our area, from supporting runners of all ages and abilities, raising money to help local students with many scholarships to further their education, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. I think that my art aligns with what the Milers stand for and is a good representation of the Mt Washington Valley. I am so excited and grateful that my painting was chosen ."

We look forward to seeing Deb's landscape throughout the community!

**UPDATE - Archie has been found!**
There are many outdoor enthusiasts in our group, please keep an eye out for our friend Archie, last seen Wednesday afternoon in the area of Hurricane Mountain Road, he pulled away while during a hike and is still on leash.
