Trish Kimble - Speaker/Author I'm a speaker, author, and creator of Ageless Thriving. Inspiring women to embrace what's next with intention, resilience, and possibility.

I help women put themselves back on the priority list and live forward with confidence, purpose, and joy.

Just because you're capable of doing something doesn't mean you're obligated to do it.

Many women become the person everyone relies on. Before long, we're carrying responsibilities we never consciously chose, leaving little time or energy for ourselves.

Tomorrow night, we'll be exploring how to set boundaries without guilt, make choices that align with your values, and stop living from obligation.

✨ Pillar 3: Choice – Living With Intention, Not Obligation

Registration closes tonight and we still have a few seats available.

If this message resonates with you, we'd love to have you join us.

I took this on my morning walk today, out in the woods with my two dogs before the heat settles in. It is one of my favourite times of the day, because it is quiet, it is cool, and it is mine.

It got me thinking about a question I keep coming back to: when was the last time you spent a couple of hours focused on you? Not work. Not family. Not the running list of responsibilities. Just you.

That is exactly what we are creating this Thursday evening at the Ageless Thriving Pillar 3 workshop. A room full of women, real conversations, fresh perspectives, and a chance to step outside the noise of everyday life for a little while.

Those conversations have become my favourite part. The different stories, the different experiences, and that moment when you realize you are not the only one who has been feeling a certain way.

We still have a few seats left. It is a lovely venue at Bevees in Port Coquitlam, and I would love to see you, and maybe a friend around the table on Thursday night.

If that sounds like something you need, and I think most of us do, come join me.
The registration link is below. Have an awesome day. 💛

Setting the boundary is rarely the hardest part.

It is what happens after.

You finally say no. And before you have even put the phone down, the spiral starts. Was I too harsh? Should I have just said yes? Are they upset with me now? Am I being selfish?

Sound familiar?

Here is what I want you to know. That spiral of second-guessing is not a sign you did something wrong. It is just an old habit, the reflex of someone who has spent years putting everyone else first.

A boundary is not unkind. It is what lets you keep showing up for people without quietly resenting them. And the self-doubt that tends to follow it can be quieted, with a little practice and a few realistic strategies.

That is exactly what we will work on in Pillar 3. How to protect your time, energy, and wellbeing, and actually feel okay about it afterward.

When life feels like too much, our instinct is usually to add something.

A new system. A better calendar. One more push to stay on top of it all.

But more is not always the answer. Sometimes the thing we actually need is less.

Most of us are carrying small, invisible drains on our time, our energy, and our peace. The commitment we keep out of habit. The task that somehow always lands on us. The clutter, mental and otherwise, that we have stopped noticing because it has been there so long.

Here is the encouraging part. You do not have to overhaul your whole life. Often, one small shift is all it takes to open up real breathing room.

And the first step is simply noticing what is draining you. That noticing is a big part of what we do together in Pillar 3.

We spend so much energy worrying about how long we will live.

We spend far less thinking about how well.

There is a real difference, and it has a name. Lifespan is the number of years. Healthspan is how good those years actually feel. How much energy, clarity, movement, and joy we get to carry through them.

Here is the part worth sitting with. We cannot control everything about aging. But healthspan is shaped, far more than most of us realize, by ordinary, everyday choices. How we move. How we rest. The boundaries we keep. The stress we agree to carry. The relationships we make time for.

Small, intentional choices today quietly shape the years ahead.
That is a big part of what Pillar 3 is about. Not anti-aging, not fighting the clock, just choosing to live well, starting now.

There is a particular kind of tired that sleep does not fix.

It is the tiredness of running on autopilot. Of moving through your days so efficiently that you barely notice you are the one living inside them.

Here is the tricky part. Autopilot does not feel like a problem. It feels like being responsible. You are getting things done, holding it all together, showing up for everyone who needs you. So we rarely stop to question it.

But it has a quiet cost. It drains your energy, scatters your focus, and chips away at your peace, one ordinary week at a time. And it rarely shows up as a single bad day. It shows up as years.

In Pillar 3, we step off autopilot long enough to see our days clearly, then make small, realistic shifts that hand some of that energy back.

Here’s a pattern I’ve seen again and again, especially in capable, dependable women.

You become good at something. So more of it lands on you. And because you can handle it, you do. Until “capable” quietly turns into “responsible for everything.”

But capability is not a contract.

Being able to do something does not automatically mean it should be yours to carry.

This week, think of one thing you’ve been holding simply because you’re the one who can. Ask whether it still needs to be yours. That single question has a way of creating room you didn’t know you were missing.

We go much deeper on this on June 18, and I look forward to seeing you there. Click the link in the comment to grab your seat!

A small question that changes everything: “Does this still work for me?”

Most women never stop to ask it.

We keep the schedule, honour the commitments, carry the responsibilities, and keep moving, because that’s what we’ve always done.

But life changes. And what once fit may not fit anymore.

So here’s your permission to pause today and ask, about any part of your life:

Does this still work for me?

You don’t have to act on the answer right away. Just notice it. Awareness is where every meaningful change begins.

This is exactly the kind of question we sit with together in Pillar 3 of the Ageless Thriving series.
