A few overhead views of one of our favorite projects to date, overlooking the iconic Newport Harbor. This custom putting green was designed to complement an already incredible waterfront property, creating a space that’s just as enjoyable for entertaining as it is for working on your short game.

From the custom nautical compass design to the yacht-inspired turf detailing, every element was tailored specifically for this client and this setting. The result is a one-of-a-kind installation that blends seamlessly with the beauty of Newport’s waterfront.

⚓️⛳️ Newport, Rhode Island Project Complete ⛳️⚓️

Set right on the waterfront in the heart of Newport, this incredible yacht club project was all about creating a space that’s as functional as it is unforgettable.

Outside, we designed and installed a 1,000 sq. ft. custom Golf green, designed to provide a true, tour-quality playing experience while complementing the stunning coastal setting.

Inside, we took customization to another level with fully custom turf designed to resemble classic boat decking, featuring a nautical compass centerpiece that perfectly captures the spirit of the club and ties the entire space together.

The client absolutely loved the finished product, and we couldn’t be happier with how seamlessly every detail came together. This amazing venue will soon be hosting parties and events, and we know it’s going to leave a lasting impression on everyone who visits.

Another custom putting green completed in Wayland, Massachusetts ⛳️🔥

This one was a lot of fun to bring to life. The unique design and shape make it a true centerpiece of the backyard, while the short-pile putting surface delivers a smooth, true roll that plays just as good as it looks. The fringe collar adds the perfect finishing touch, creating definition around the green and enhancing both the playability and overall aesthetic.

What really sets this project apart is how seamlessly the green integrates with the existing hardscape, making it feel like it was always meant to be part of this outdoor living space.

A different perspective.

From above, the scale of this Nantucket project really comes to life—3,500 square feet of putting surface, flowing contours, and a massive custom nose bunker designed to make a statement.

3,500 square feet of pure golf.

This Nantucket project pushed every part of our team. From ferry schedules and material logistics to equipment coordination on an island, nothing about this build was simple. But challenges create opportunities to build something extraordinary.

The result: a custom 3,500 sq. ft. putting green featuring a massive nose bunker, designed to look and play like it belongs on a championship golf course.

Projects like this don’t happen by accident. They happen through planning, craftsmanship, and a team committed to getting it done the right way.

A closer look at the details.

This custom green was designed to look and play like the real thing — featuring dramatic elevation changes, a stacked sod wall bunker, built-in turf steps, and a deep nose bunker that completely transforms the approach shots around the green.

The putting surface is rolling a true 11 and every contour was shaped to create realistic speed, break, and shot variety from every angle.

From concept to completion.

This project pushed the details to another level — featuring a custom stacked sod bunker, built-in turf steps, and a massive nose bunker designed to challenge every shot. The green came out absolutely pure and is rolling a true 11 for that real tour-speed feel.

Every contour, edge, and finish was built with playability and realism in mind. This is the kind of backyard setup that changes the entire property.

This project in Marstons Mills is really starting to come together. In this walkthrough, we break down the progress on the custom putting green and the two bunkers we built — from shaping and contouring to true ball roll and realistic playability.

Every detail matters when you want a green that not only looks clean, but actually performs like the real thing.
