Ministry of Culture, Government of India have always supported holistic initiatives for the benefit of our society. One such initiative was this workshop by University of Sussex held in Kolkata last year. After 6months, we are finally heading into more creative ways of nurturing social labs!

As an International Communication Trainer, it's necessary to undergo “Child Safeguarding Training” to seek working opportunities in different countries, because we may have to interact with children or young people during our work. This training helps us understand how to create a safe and supportive environment for children, recognize signs of abuse or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately if a child discloses abuse.

Additionally, having “Child Safeguarding Training” demonstrates our commitment to the well-being of children and shows that we take the responsibilities as a trainer seriously. It also helps to build trust with clients and organizations that hires us to work with children or young people.

In many countries, there are legal requirements for individuals who work with children to undergo child safeguarding training, so having this training may also be necessary to comply with local regulations and laws.

Therefore, I am happy to share that I have successfully completed my training on the same from UNICEF 😇
