Grateful for our Rec Football Program Director Scott Umstead for investing in our kids and bringing in an elite coach, Dave Cisar, for professional development today. I highly recommend Coach Cisar and he did an excellent job!

Coach Cisar started the day with a powerful reminder: coaches are often the reason kids either fall in love with football or walk away from it. That hit home.

We had coaches from every level in the room today — 3 youth coaches, 3 middle school coaches, and 3 high school coaches — all working together toward something rare and important: true vertical alignment across our program.

I’m blessed to be surrounded by coaches who are willing to attend clinics, give up a Saturday, and spend 7 hours working to get better for our kids and our community.

A big thank you to the wives, girlfriends, and families who support our coaches and allow them to spend days like this growing, learning, and serving.

We were grateful to welcome back one of Hart’s all-time great running backs, Joseluis Andaverde, to speak with our kids on Thursday.
Joseluis is a great example of what we want Hart Football to represent. He was an outstanding player for us, but what we are most proud of is the way he continues to grow, lead, and give back beyond high school.

He is doing big things at the University of Olivet, where he spent two years playing football, is now competing in track, and is helping lead multiple groups focused on service and giving back to others.

As we continue building tradition at Hart, it matters when former Pirates come back and pour into the next group. Guys like Joseluis remind our players that the goal is bigger than Friday nights. It is about growth, gratitude, giving, grit, and grace.
Once a Pirate, always a Pirate.

Excited for all of our coaches continuing to try and grow! They will be bringing in a top notch speaker this Saturday to help grow us all! I’ve seen coach speak and he brings it!! He ran one of the best youth organizations in America! 🖤🏴‍☠️🏈⛈🦬

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about whether the Hart Pirates Football Golf Outing will be back this year — and we’re excited to share that it is!

This year, we’re making a change and moving the outing to the fall. For the first time, we’ll host it during football season, and by then we’ll already be three games in. We think that will bring a different energy to the event and make it a great opportunity for our community to feel even more connected to the team, the season, and the program.

We’re looking forward to putting on another great event, bringing people together, and continuing to make this outing better each year.

Save the date for the Hart Pirates Football 5th Annual Golf Outing on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at The Colonial Golf Course.

Excited to welcome our new class of incoming freshmen to Hart Football.

It is always hard watching a great group of seniors leave, but there is something special about a new crew stepping in and beginning their journey. We are grateful for the guys who helped build the standard, and excited for the young men who now get the chance to grow into it.

Looking forward to attacking new storms in the WMC Lakes!

🏴‍☠️🚨 2026 Hart Buccaneers Football Registration is NOW OPEN! 🚨🏴‍☠️

Registration is officially open NOW through July 31st for all Buccaneers football programs!

🏈 Flag Football: 1st–3rd Grade
A great introduction for beginners, younger athletes, or players not quite ready to make the leap to tackle football.

🏈 Peewee Tackle: 3rd–4th Grade
🏈 JV Tackle: 5th–6th Grade

3rd graders have options! If your child is new to football or not quite ready for tackle, Flag Football is a great way to learn the game, build confidence, and have fun before making the jump.

We’ve got some exciting things planned this season and can’t wait to get back to work in August. Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we’re excited to welcome you to the Buccaneer family.
