One year since I first pressed play on my very first workout of DDP YOGA. I found this transformative program after falling off a step ladder that resulted in a knee injury. Physical therapy wasn't helping and my ortho doctor told me to lose weight but was unhelpful in just how I should go about it.
I googled low impact knee workouts and found a video of a man who lost over 300 lbs doing DDP YOGA. "If he can do it, so can I."
Pressing play on that first workout (Energy 2.0) was scary, I hoped it would be the answer I needed but doubted it actually would. After following the program as it was scheduled in the DDP YOGA app for 36 days my knee pain was practically gone. I could finally walk up these small stairs without pain!!!
On 11-8-2020 I committed to doing DDP YOGA every day even if it was a short workout I was going to do it.
In one years time, I have transformed my life from someone who used to sit on the sidelines ashamed of my size and physical limitations, someone who was embarrassed when she became out of breath from walking a short distance, someone who wanted to play with her kids but just didn't have the energy. To a person who is now a certified instructor of this amazing program, someone who can beat her oldest child in a dead sprint, and someone who now looks forward to challenging herself and others to .

Stats for those that are curious I have dropped 48 inches in the last year 10-15-2020 to 10-15-2021, but 60.5 since starting the weight looks journey.
Dropped 59.8 pounds and 82 overall.
