SKATE-SPECIFIC CHECKLIST
1. Fresh Sharpening
Get done 1–2 days before hitting the ice
Gives you time to test, tweak, and avoid first-day surprises

2. Inspect Your Blades
No rust, flat spots, or damage
Make sure holders are tight
Bring backup steel, labeled and sharpened

3. Know Your Specs
What radius of hollow or FBV works for you?
The more you know, the better the sharpen.

4. Pack for Maintenance
Blade covers or guards
Microfiber towel
Hand hone
