ASK YOURSELF 👇🏻

Before 2026 begins, what if you slowed down long enough to pause? To consciously reflect on the year coming to a close…
Make sure your next year doesn’t begin by rushing forward, but by meeting this one with honesty.

And honestly? These are the kinds of questions we should be asking ourselves more often. So lets start now.

You’ll be surprised how much clarity & honesty they create.

1. If you had to sum up 2025 in 3 words, what would they be & what 3 words do you want 2026 to be built from?

2. Which fears did you meet this year & which ones are you done letting control your life?

3. What moments made you feel the most you & how can you create more of that energy next year?

4. Who or what drained your energy in 2025 & what boundaries need to be set in order to not let it happen again?

5. What are you proud of that required courage & what did that version of you prove to yourself?

6. What truth did you avoid this year because you knew acknowledging it would require change?

7. What version of yourself are you ready to stop bringing into 2026? & who are you ready to become?

8. Who held you, believed in you, or grew with you this year & who didn’t?

Sit with these questions. Answer them with full honesty, especially the ones that sting a little.

Lately, I’ve been realizing how much I crave safety, not from others, but from within myself.
For so long, I thought being strong & independent was my truth… but now I see it was a shield.

A way to protect the parts of me that never felt safe enough to be soft, to be vulnerable. Sometimes healing isn’t about becoming stronger, it’s about feeling safe enough to soften.

I’m learning that true safety doesn’t come from control, from relationships, friendships or achievements; it comes from trust. Trust in life, universe, God, whatever you want to call it, ultimately trust in yourself.

& some days it feels impossible… But that trust grows in the moments when you allow yourself to feel. Through Breathwork or 🍄, through tears, through stillness, through movement, through remembering that you are already loved exactly as you are…. even if we tend to lose touch with it afterwards.

When that love seems to fade, I feel the familiar loop of uncertainty, loneliness, guilt & unworthiness. But even in that, I’m learning that something beautiful is in the works. That life, God, the universe; they’re not against me. They’re teaching me to trust, to soften, and to finally feel safe… just being me.

It’s not about fixing yourself.
It’s about coming home & accepting the part of you that never needed fixing.

Life can also be beautiful if I let it be;

It’s in the hard times that I see how well I am surrounded.
It’s in the hard times that I grow & evolve.
It’s because of the hard times that I learn to appreciate the good times.
It’s in the hard times that I build resilience.

It’s hard to not fall into a spiral of chaos when going through a rough patch. It’s hard to hang onto the good. Hard to keep trusting that I am exactly where I need to be & that I am the only reason I am where I am. Taking responsibility is hard. I am not always in control of what happens to me, but I am always in control of how I react to the situations.

Having had a rough summer for a few different reasons, when I slowly saw my basement flood for the 5th time a few months ago, to say I was discouraged & depleted would be an understatement. Honetsly at that moment, the only thing I wanted to do was put up a « for sale » sign and just get the f**k out of here.

I took the time I needed to process & to figure out what I needed AND wanted to do. Making sure I took a decision from a clear mind and not from a place of fear. After taking a step back, I decided to start taking steps forward.

It’s not easy to run a business with 3 different services, own a house by myself, workout, eat healthy, take care of a dog (yes he’s my child 😂), upkeep my friendships, romantic partnership & family relationships, as well as *let’s not forget* taking care of my mental health, that at times seems to be hanging on by a thread, all while trying to not panic about making enough money to sustain to my basic needs... And I wonder why I feel overwhelmed 🤔

All this to say, in the end, even through hardships, I’m still pushing through, doing my best & finding a way to trust that everything will work out the way it’s supposed to.

I’m not sharing this for pity but because I think it’s important to stay REAL & RAW especially on IG, where things often seem like f**king unicorns & rainbows, when in fact, it’s not. This is real life, let’s show more of it.
