From Coach Pedro re: game time ⏰

I just wanted to show you all the amount of actual playing time each player has had, and how it tracks against the average. I worked out that in a team of 7, playing 40 minute games, that's 280 mins in total. We divide that by 10 players in our squad that's 28 minutes average per game per player.
There are 18 rounds in a season, thats 18x28 = 504 minutes.

If my calculations are incorrect, please let me know.

It's worth pointing out that if a player played a full 40 min game, that's 12 mins more than average, but if they only played 20 mins, that's 8 mins below average.

From here, we then deduct the number of Saturdays a player missed due to holidays or illness.
The image shows the name of each player and the minutes they will have played come full time this Saturday.
As we can see, only Noah is just 6 minutes shy of the average playing time. Flynn is just above.
Every other player is well above average in a squad of 10.

At the Gala a week on Friday, my plan is to give full games (16 minutes a game) to Noah & Flynn.

We have a min of three games, and for each game I'll play Leo, James & Dean in goal for full games.

Soccer gala night soccer ⚽️ 🥇
Date: Friday 4th August 5:30pm KO (please be there 5:10pm for a warm up)
Location: Woronora Heights Oval (yep the one that looks close but is about 20-25 mins away)

The players will get a free sausage sizzle so hopefully that’s dinner taken care of at least 😀

** Pedro will also be running a training session next Tuesday the 1st August to prepare**

Home game 8:50am against Bosco. Please be there for 8:30 for warm up etc.
No word on ground duty as yet, here’s hoping we have all done our shifts 🥴🙏🏻

Hi all, given how busy everyone’s calendars are I thought it might make sense to celebrate the teams performance & end of the season at the clubs members & families night on Sunday 6th August if everyone is free
