Who is going to take the first ever Second Cast Bass Club Championship home?

1st place Guaranteed $1000 thanks Tiger Moving

I have spoken with most, but if you need to buy another tournament to qualify and want to fish this event please do it ASAP so I can post a Guaranteed payout leading up to the tournament.

The names in the picture are those eligible for a free side pot drawing in the Championship. Charles will draw 3 teams, Day 1, Day 2 and an alternate if one of the first two teams can not make it.

No Membership required to fish these, Anyone any age can join in on the fun.

Top Finishing Second Cast Club members are guaranteed $100 with less than 12 boats and $200 with 12 or more boats at each Tournament. These Tournaments will be to boost our 2 Day Championship Purse that will pay out to the top 30% of the field.

The innagural season is in the books, and the points race went down to the final weigh in. The points were based off of best 4 total weights in the 6 qualify events(drop the lowest 2 tournaments). Thanks to everyone who fished with us this year and look forward to seeing everyone at the 2 Day Championship in July! Our Fall trail will start in August/September.

RESULTS FROM STOP #6 AT LAKE HARTWELL!

Joe and Greg get the Win at Stop #6.

Hartwell was packed with boat traffic on a blue bird sky day. Heat index was around 100 degrees for most of the tournament but that didn't stop 13 of 16 teams that fished from weighing in a 5 bass limit. Most reported the fishing to be great for numbers. We had 9 new members.

"We started the day slow with a small limit offshore, caught a 3.85 Largemouth on a topwater about 8am.. with what we were trying being tough we ran to some bream beds that historically have held some nice fish with the water level being low.. Greg made a nice cull on a Coike style bait, a knockoff he uses and I caught one on weightless worm that ended up being our 2nd and 3rd biggest bites of the day. We went back offshore after a couple hours without a bite and caught a nice spot out of a brush pile with a drop shot. Our last keeper came about 45 minutes before weigh in on a small swimbait. We fished from the mid lake area down to the dam"

This is your last chance to qualify the Championship if you have not fished 2!

Several guys who have only fished 3 tournaments could make a big jump in the points race if they bust a bag at Hartwell!

I will do a drawing at the end of weigh in for a free "side pot" for both days in the Championship for everyone that has fished 4 events or more and doesn't finish in the points race money.

Must be 30 years of age or Older to buy a membership. New members always welcome.

Let's make this the biggest turnout yet!

Championship is a little over a month away!

Since we had to reschedule stop #5, I will allow members needing 1 more to qualify an opportunity to purchase a tournament to become eligible for the Championship. The tournament purchased will go directly to the Championship Purse

The 2 Day Championship will be a random draw between Hartwell, Keowee and Jocassee. 2 Days, 2 Different Lakes. It will be on Friday July 10th and Saturday July 11th.
It will have a $100 Entry Fee

Top 30% of the field will get paid for highest two day total weight.

Chuck's Rod Service is giving $200 to the overall Big fish of the Championship.

Closest to 3.0lb pot will pay out both days.

It will have an Optional $40 Side Pot per day for those that want to enter. Side Pot will pay out 3 places each day, along with biggest fish of the day.

I will also do an optional $10 per person side pot for guess the closest to the 2 day total winning weight for those interested.

We have several teams who have only fished 3 that could make a huge leap with a big day at Hartwell.

The points race is based on your 4 best total weights out of the 6 qualifying events.

You must fish Solo or with your qualifying teammate to be eligible for the points race.

All comes down to the last event, Stop #6 at Hartwell on June 13th!!

Aaron Harris and Jacob Henderson drop a mega bag on the scales for the win at Lake Jocassee. They are the first ever 2 time Second Cast Bass Club Champions after winning Stop #2 at Hartwell and Stop #5. Congratulations!

Stop #5 at Jocassee was a wet one. It rained most of the day, but the fish were already wet so it didn't seem to bother them too much. Most members said they caught lots of fish.

Aaron and Jacob said fishing the back of creeks were where the water was running in was money in this event. They said "We got them on a Chatterbait early around water running in and made a nice Cull late on a topwater over a tree"

Our next event is on Lake Hartwell out of Broyles Landing on June 13th. The points race is tight and this one will decide it all.
