Dear Starlights,

It’s easy to look around and measure our progress against someone else’s, but the truth is—no two journeys are the same. Each person brings their own experiences, strengths, and challenges, which means growth will naturally look different for everyone.

Comparison can take the focus away from what truly matters: your own progress. Instead of asking, “Am I as good as them?” a more powerful question is, “Am I better than I was yesterday?” Growth isn’t about keeping pace with others—it’s about moving forward in a way that’s meaningful for you.

We all started as beginners. Every skill, every achievement, every moment of confidence was built over time through effort, patience, and persistence. Progress may feel slow at times, but that doesn’t make it any less valuable. In fact, those small, consistent steps are what lead to lasting success.

Give yourself the space to learn at your own pace. Celebrate your improvements, no matter how small they may seem. Stay focused on your path, trust the process, and remember—the goal isn’t perfection, it’s progress.
