Basketball taught me how to pivot, how to lead, how to trust the process, and how to keep going when nobody sees the work. Life runs the same plays & taught me how to turn those lessons into purpose. Now I’m taking everything the game gave me and using it to help others elevate. Different court. Same mentality. And when you play it the right way... it’s always a win.

Being resilient is a skill. It’s a characteristic developed when one is faced with a hand that isn’t easy or natural. Where I’m from there are no handouts. No shortcuts. No easy way to it, you just had to put your head down and go to work. No matter who or what was in your way. That’s what raised me. That’s what molded me into someone resilient and constantly motivated. My parents taught me to control what you can control, and that’s been one of the best lessons I’ve learned in life. Putting my best foot forward every time. And that’s why through everything, I proudly say; it’s always a win.
