A reminder that tomorrow is our '$70 for 70 years' weekday sale. For 24 hours only - from midnight tonight until 11:59pm tomorrow night - you can purchase an adult weekday pass for $70 and a youth weekday pass for $45.
On Saturday, dress in your vintage ski best, both sides of the maunga, to commemorate 70 years of Ruapehu Alpine Lifts.
Whakapapa will play host to some informal formalities from 4-7pm outside Lorenz's, also putting on food, drinks, a DJ, and giveaways. The forecast is looking good for free twilight skiing from 4-6pm on the Rangatira, and free sightseeing on the Sky Waka Gondola from 4-6pm.
Tūroa will have a DJ, fire pit, and a BBQ running, and weather pending, will also look to stay open an extra hour.
