May carnival is fast approaching . Less than a week .

We still have some team spots available if there are any members who wish to get a team together .

Club dinner on Saturday night , 2 course ($25 per head ) please ,let me know ASAP if you want to attend. Open to all members.

Once again, our club is proud to host a BPL Cup Qualifying Event on Sunday, 31st of May, with play commencing at 9:30am. Get a team in to potentially win yourselves a trip to compete for the title at the National Final in November.

The format is triples however the teams can consist of 3 or 4 players. A team with 4 players may substitute their sub into the game at the completion of any end. Also, all players must come from the same club and can be any mix of genders.

Sunday 12th April saw Bruno's Balls represent our Club in the Night Owls Championships at Marion Bowling Club. First time playing at this level & with only 2 bowls instead of usual 3, the boys did great. 2 wins a draw & 2 losses out of 5 games. Finished 14th out of 28, with 1 win being over the Waikerie team. Boys looked good with Berri caps & Yabbie shirts. 👏👏

The 2025-26 Presentation & Sponsors Dinner was held last night at the Clubrooms to celebrate the season's achievements & Champions.Thanks to Fuzion Foodz for the great meal and all those who helped set up & present the night.

Club Mixed Pairs Final yesterday morning had Steve & Claire Eichenberger taking on Janet Bradford & David Badran in a tight seesawing game. All square after the 17th, and despite continual shot changes, Steve & Claire hung onto their 2 shots on the last end to take the game 16-14.

WOW. What a day!!!

At half time it was nervous stuff from both our sides.

Division 1 went into the break only 1 shot up. But all 3 rinks came out firing in the second half to silence the Barmera crowd 🤫. We came out victors 85-52. This makes four in a row for our A Grade and now 20 premierships in the last 28 years.

But let’s not forget about Division 3. Also in a tight battle at the half, being 7 shots up. But just like our top side, Division 3 found some fight and winning by a huge margin, 73-43 over Waikerie.

An amazing effort from our teams and the club as a whole. We’d like to thank all our supporters who came out today. And for one final time…
