Vestibular training is an important part of a fighter’s preparation.

It develops the ability to maintain balance and body control during disorientation.

After a heavy punch or a knockdown, a fighter may lose balance, experience unstable vision, and have disrupted coordination. A well-trained vestibular system helps restore orientation faster, stabilize the body, and continue defending.

This type of training teaches the brain and body to function even when the balance system is temporarily disturbed.

Sometimes the ability to regain balance quickly can decide the outcome of a round.
