Receiving and Turning

☑️ How to play:
💠 Off-ball player:
- Waiting inside the zone for the signal from the on-ball player
- Once a colour is called out, the off-ball player moves through that colour gap to receive the ball.
- Followed by turning and driving the ball through the next 2 colour gaps which would be called by the delivery man
- Finally, finishing with an accuracy pass to goals
💠 On-ball player:
- Give the on-ball player colour options to show up and move the ball
- Don’t pass if the off-ball player doesn't ask for it

✅Coaching Point:
- Positioning and body position: The off-ball player has to be in a good position which gives him space to receive the ball while his body opens up to have the best vision
- Awareness to make quick decisions: On the off-ball player is opening up, he’s supposed to scan to “take a picture” behind his shoulder, so he can make a decision right after the first touch
- Reaction: Taking the second touch to accelerate
- Moving the ball: Driving the ball in high intensity and being dynamic in changing direction.
