Former WWE and SPW superstar CHEN recently talked about his participation in Pro Wrestling NOAH’s N-1 VICTORY 2026 tournament in an interview with their official website. While talking about the tournament, he was asked about challenging for the GHC Heavyweight Championship against Tetsuya Naito, who also holds the SPW Southeast Asia Championship, if he won the N-1.

“(The SPW Southeast Asia Championship is) a title from the promotion where my career started, and it’s a belt that I once held myself. So he’s someone I’m aware of in two ways,” said CHEN. “Of course, what I’m focusing on right now is the GHC Heavyweight belt.”

The tournament kicks off on 12 September at Korakuen Hall, and we’re sure SPW fans will be watching with anticipation.

On 15 September, SPW stars The Statement Andruew Tang, Da Butcherman, CK Vin, Bryson Blade, and Cheeseburger Kid will be making appearances at the Embassy of Mexico in Singapore’s celebration of the 216th anniversary of Mexico’s Independence! The event celebrates Mexico’s Independence Day with guests such as government officials, the diplomatic corps, and the local Mexican community in attendance. Singapore Pro Wrestling is proud to play a part in the festivities and help honour Mexico’s rich history and cultural heritage. While the event is not public, keep an eye on our pages for photos and updates!
