Today, we stop calculating and start competing. Registration for VRC Engineering Competition is officially OPEN.

We aren't offering a generic trophy. We are offering something far more valuable: The Engineering Scar Tissue. VRC is a self-organized, high-stakes gauntlet designed to transform students into Engineers.

💡 WHY COMPETE? (THE VALUE PROPOSITION)
In a job interview, "I studied CAD" is a sentence. "I engineered a 3D-printed racing prototype that survived a 10-minute high-thermal endurance heat on a 2-million VND budget" is a career.

By joining the Grid, your team will master:

To be crowned VRC Champion, you must survive the most grueling regulated RC test ever hosted at VGU. We have officially adopted a Dual-Heat Endurance Format designed to test your machine's soul, your team’s pit strategy, and your driver's discipline under pressure. 🏎️🔥

👥 THE CREW: TEAM FORMATION A championship machine isn't built by one person. Every registered team MUST consist of 2 to 4 members.

We aren't just giving away a trophy; we are making you earn 1,000 calculated points. 🏆

PART 1: THE STATIC SCRUTINY (350 PTS) 📑 Before a wheel turns, the engineering must be proven.
+ Engineering Design Report (EDR) – 250 Pts: Your CAD logic and "Iteration History" are put on trial by VRC Judges. 👨‍🏫
+ Cost & Manufacturing Report (CMR) – 100 Pts: Prove you built a champion for under 2,000,000 VND. Every gram of filament counts. 💰

PART 2: THE DYNAMIC GAUNTLET (550 PTS) 🏁 Qualifying followed by two high-intensity, head-to-head endurance heats.

⏱️ THE QUALIFYING SESSION
+ Format: 3 laps: 1 warm-up (Out-lap) followed by 2 timed hot laps.
+ The Grid: The fastest lap determines your rank. Pole Position gets the front right. 🥇

🏁 HEAT 1: THE MORNING ENDURANCE (250 PTS)
+ The Goal: Survive in a 10-minutes Wheel-to-Wheel Race. This is the first test of your custom suspension and chassis under race stress. 🏗️
+ Scoring: Points awarded relative to the heat leader.

🏁 HEAT 2: THE AFTERNOON REDEMPTION (300 PTS)
+ The Goal: Consistency. Starting positions are determined by Heat 1 performance. 🏎️💨

BONUS AWARDS (+100 PTS) ⚖️ Fastest Lap (+25), Manufacturing Innovation (+25), Reliability (+25) and the Value Engineering Award (Best performance-to-cost ratio) (+25).🧠

🛠️ THE MANDATORY PIT STOP (THE "WINDOW") Every team MUST perform one battery swap and thermal check during each heat.

⚠️ THE PENALTY SYSTEM: DIRECT DEDUCTIONS Infractions will result in Direct Point Deductions from your 1,000-point total. Drive clean, or watch your ranking disappear. 📉🚫

Meet the arena where digital theory hits acrylic reality: The VGU Badminton Courts. This isn't just a place for leisure; it’s a high-friction, zero-margin-for-error technical circuit. 🏎️

We’ve finalized the standard competition layout. This map is your input variable. You cannot engineer a winning machine without understanding the soil it races on. 🗺️

The Proving Ground Breakdown: 🔍

+🔴 SECTOR 1 (Red Zone): A challenging entry requiring maximum stability during trail braking. Turns 01 and 03 test your front-end grip, while 02 and 03 test your side-to-side transition.

+🟢 SECTOR 2 (Green Zone): The Technical Spine. A tight, rhythmic chicane complex (Turns 04-07). Misjudge your suspension rebound or steering kinematics here, and you will traction roll into a 1000-point dynamic failure. 📉

+🔵 SECTOR 3 (Blue Zone): High-Speed Duration. The exit out of Turn 08 opens into a crucial multi-radius section (Turns 09 and 10) before the heavy braking of Turn 11 back onto the main straight. This is where motor efficiency and battery thermal management define your endurance. 🔋⚡

Technical Mandate: The Constraints

+Footprint: A 12.6 x 20m technical arena. 📐

+📏Surface: High-grip asphalt/acrylic composite. Traction roll territory.

+⚠️Layout: A complex 11-turn technical layout designed to punish lazy suspension geometry and reward calculated kinematics.
