💖🏁Results from this past weekend!💖🏁
Friday was Blake’s birthday and with the rain that was heading our way in Princeton, we decided to let Blake choose where to go. So, we got into the truck and we ended up in Montevideo! Fiesta City Speedway. 2.5 hours away. 💖🏁
Heat race we started 5th on a hammer down track! We battled back and forth with the 4th place car but ended 5th.
Feature we started 5th and after hard battle with 4th yet again we ended up 5th! Top 5 at a new track not bad! 💖🏁
Shout out to Fiesta City Speedway for a great track and a very welcoming track staff and fellow racers as well!
Saturday night we headed back up to Ogilvie Raceway 💖🏁
Heat race we got put into another stacked lineup…started 3rd and ended up going backwards! Ended up 7…
Feature we started 20th and we worked our way up to 12th. Can’t always have great nights, but it won’t stop us from trying!🏁💖

Happy Father’s Day to the man who proves every single day that being a father isn’t about biology—it’s about love, commitment, and showing up.
When you came into our lives, you didn’t just fall in love with me. You chose all of us. You became the role model, protector, and steady presence that my children needed, and you did it without hesitation. Through some of our hardest days, you carried us when we felt like we couldn’t take another step. You picked us up, kept us moving forward, and reminded us that brighter days were ahead.
You love fiercely, laugh often, and somehow always find a way to keep a smile on your face. Whether you’re singing and dancing in the kitchen, making us laugh when we need it most, or rubbing your belly & relaxing on the couch you bring so much joy into our lives.
The love our grandchildren have for you says it all. Watching Maddox look at his Papa like you’re the greatest person in the world melts my heart every time. Whether you’re working in the shop, racing, playing, or simply being present, you’re creating memories that will last a lifetime.
You may be younger than me, but your wisdom, strength, patience, and heart are beyond your years. Our family is stronger because of you. Our children are better because of you. I am better because of you.

💖🏁Race results from Ogilvie Raceway💖🏁
We had a descend draw of 38 to start the night, which put us in the 2nd heat. We started outside 2nd row (4th) in a very very good heat. Battled back and forth with 4th and 5th place but at the end of the race we ended up 5th outta 9.
Feature 💖🏁
We started 14th out of 26, middle of the pack.
As the feature started we had a driver drive over our left front, on the first lap, but luckily we were able to continue and keep rolling. Car felt great being able to drive any line on the track! Still looking for the sweet spot with the car, but we moved up to 9th and that’s where we finished.
Car is in one piece, with a little body damage. Back into the shop, fix it up and get ready for the week!

❤️🏁 It was a fun weekend! We started Thursday with the Rum River Festival parade. We handed out a ton of candy, 1500 bracelets, and coupons to join us at the Princeton Pizza Pub for a free domestic beer or soda after the races. This offer is good on all Princeton race nights this season with your wristband. 🏁❤️

🏁➡️Results from Princeton Speedway:
For our heat race, we started pole, led for a few laps, but Vande passed us, and we ended up second. For our feature, we redrew 6th. At the start, we moved up to 5th but decided to move to the high side and got passed, so we ended our night 6th with the car in one piece. Not a bad night at all! ❤️🏁
I was bummed I missed my shot at the hula hoop contest during intermission. 🤪🤣We were in the first feature, so it would have been cutting it a bit too close.

➡️🏁Results from Ogilvie Raceway:
Luck of the draw again for our heat race. We started 6th but muscled our way up to 3rd for the last redraw position for the feature. Redraw we drew 8th! Our redraw skills are about as good as
Joey Jensen IYKYK.🤣🏁
At the start of the feature, the car felt fast; unfortunately, we got hung up in some slower traffic, got shuffled around, and fell back to 14th.

Even when things don’t go your way for the night, having your wife, kids, and grandkids there when you get off the track makes up for it! ❤️🏁

So, back into the shop to look things over, wash, and try again next week! ❤️🏁
