🏁 STOCKHOLM RACE WEEKEND RECAP | 8/22–8/23 🏁

Another weekend of racing in the books! We headed to Stockholm for a full weekend in the Speedster class with 9 karts in the field.

Saturday:
🏎️ Race 1 — Started 5th ➡️ Finished 5th
🏎️ Race 2 — Started 5th ➡️ Finished 5th
⏱️ And set a NEW PERSONAL BEST — 1:15! 🔥

Sunday:
🏎️ Prefinal — Started 3rd ➡️ Finished 4th
🏎️ Final — Started 7th ➡️ Finished 7th

The final definitely didn’t go as planned. A big crash on lap 1 made for a tough way to finish the weekend, but hey that’s racing. We walked away with more seat time, more experience, and a new personal best to be proud of.

This weekend was also a little different than most. After spending time in the hospital earlier in the week with a bad infection and surgery scheduled for the following Monday,just being able to get out there and compete made this one feel like a win in its own way. ❤️

The weather was perfect and having so many great friends around made the weekend even better. 🌤️

💕💕Did somebody order up a new personal best lap and top speed??? 🏁🏁

Layla did!!

Wow, what a great race week before being able to take a few days off to spend the 4th with family! Layla got two practice days in leading up to a hot and wet 💦 race weekend.

With very high humidity and temps in the upper 80’s, we knew fatigue could kick in. But not for Layla!! On top of staying well hydrated, she had her new Foundation Wheel Development Rookie-Navigator wheel which fit Layla’s hands perfectly. After nearly 100 laps over four days, she had no pain or tightness in her hands or arms. Keep in mind, her hands used to hurt after just a single session with her old wheel! Huge improvement!

After setting new personal bests this past weekend, Layla is ready for a quick break but very eager to get back on track! She just loves being both at and on the track with her friends!! 💗💗

I absolutely 💗 LOVE 💗 my new Foundation Wheel Development Rookie Navigator steering wheel! It fits my little hands perfectly, and so much better than any other wheel I have tried! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!
