Can you please dig through your stinky hockey bags and pull out any league jerseys you may have forgotten to hand in after Jambo and/or playoffs!!!

Heidi will do a drive-by anyone’s house or place of business to pick up any stragglers for a wash and safe storage until next season.

Please leave a message here or PM her for pick up location for next Tuesday (that should give y’all time to sort through your bags and get a hold of Heidi).

Our ceremonial puck drop was done this year by Maryann Knutson. Maryann was part of the original group of women who started playing hockey in Dawson and she’s hockey mom to two of our veteran Ice Queens.

The Knutson family is an official sponsor of our league through Tatra Ventures, but unofficially they are the heads of our Shenanigans Committee. From shot sticks to beer helmets to this year’s epic hot dog gun, they are responsible for a large percentage of the smiles you see around Jambo weekend.

Thank you to Marty, Maryanne, Tamika, and Aurora for everything you do for our league and our community. We love you!
