Redlands Benchwarmers The Redlands Benchwarmers is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable California corporation established in 1952.

The purpose of the Benchwarmers is to provide financial support to all high school student athletic programs in the Redlands Unified School District, including Redlands High School, Redlands East Valley High School, Citrus Valley High School, Orangewood High School and Grove Charter High School. The current level of annual support to the high school sports programs is about $60,000, but has been as high as $75,000. The Benchwarmers motto is “No student should be denied the experience and enjoyment of high school sports due to financial constraints.” Upcoming Benchwarmers fundraising events are usually announced on our website: www.redlandsbenchwarmers.org, and on our page. The normal memberships are $20.00 for an individual and $35.00 for an entire family. Sponsorships are $150 for Silver, $250 for Gold, $500 for Diamond and $1,000 for a Platinum sponsorship. As the Redlands Unified Schools year comes to a close, the Benchwarmers are pleased to share photos from Scholarship Awards night at Citrus Valley High School, Redlands East Valley High, and Redlands High schools. Congratulations to our 2026 Champions of the 43rd Annual Greg Horton Memorial Charity Golf Tournament.

Photo 1: Champions Flight (-15) were the Mike Ramos Foursome comprised of Michael Ramos, Mikey Ramos, Laren Leichliter and Ikaiki Velasco.

Photo 2: Co-Ed Flight Champions (-7) were the American Legion Post 421 Foursome comprised of April Getman, Gary Richard, Josh McMillan and Steve Howard.

There's still time to enter your foursome in one of the longest-running charity golf tournaments in the Inland Empire. In addition to the Champions Flight (most foursomes) and the Senior Flight (all golfers 55 and older), we've included a new Co-Ed or Mixed Flight to our format with awards for each winning flight.

Redlands Benchwarmers has provided a record $65,000 this school year (August - May) in direct support of high school sports. High school sports budgets are being squeezed by rising costs in other areas of the RUSD budgets. We need help in keeping the quality of our high school sports the best possible. Please support our golf tournament by entering a foursome, purchasing a tee sign ($100) or donating a raffle prize.
