We are extremely excited to announce the Head Coach of our 13U division, Coach Gloudeman!

Coach Gloudeman is a coach who is completely committed to the fundamentals of the game. Day in and day out, he holds every player accountable, making sure they master every assignment from Step 1 through Step 11 before moving on to the next. His attention to detail, discipline, and dedication to player development set the standard for excellence.

As these young athletes enter their final season of youth football, Coach Gloudeman’s strong leadership, structure, and high expectations are exactly what this program needs. He understands the importance of preparing players not only for success on the football field but also for the challenges that lie ahead at the high school level and beyond.

Coach Gloudeman is passionate about developing student-athletes, always putting academics first while teaching the skills, discipline, and work ethic necessary to succeed in life. His structured approach and disciplined daily regimen help build confident, accountable, and respectful young men.

As an organization, we couldn’t be more excited to have Coach Gloudeman, his knowledge, and his outstanding coaching staff as part of the Yu-Cal Generals family.

We are excited to announce the Head Coach of our 12U Yu-Cal Generals team — Coach Smith!

Coach Smith is a true fan favorite and the kind of coach who can put a smile on anyone’s face, even on their toughest days. His positive attitude, leadership, and commitment to his players make him a respected leader among both his team and coaching staff.

Throughout his coaching career, Coach Smith has been dedicated to creating an environment where every player feels valued, included, and excited to come to practice. His teams consistently have outstanding attendance because the kids genuinely enjoy being around him and playing the game he loves to teach. Coach Smith believes football should be fun, and if a player isn’t having a good experience, he’ll take the time to find out why and do everything he can to make it right.

After coaching in the division last season, Coach Smith and his team now know exactly what to expect at the 12U level. With that experience under their belts, they’re ready to embrace the challenge, compete at a high level, and continue building something special.

We are excited to officially announce the Head Coach of our 11U team — Coach Johnny!

Coach Johnny is truly one of a kind. With over 10 years of youth football coaching experience and more than 15 years coaching youth sports overall, he brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to the Yu-Cal Generals organization.

Known for being organized, structured, and disciplined, Coach Johnny always puts the kids first. He takes pride in teaching, mentoring, and developing young athletes, and he never hesitates to help a player learn the right way—whether they’re on his team or not. His goal is to build leaders, create a strong brotherhood among teammates, and develop a family culture that extends beyond the football field.

While championships are always a goal, Coach Johnny believes success is measured by hard work, growth, accountability, and making sure the players are having fun while learning the game.

This season, Coach Johnny is returning to his roots by taking over the defensive side of the ball, following his coaching mentor’s Coach Tim and Coach Brian Barber. And as many parents already know, you can expect those detailed playbooks to be handed out well before the season begins!

Coach Johnny’s love for football and passion for coaching are evident in everything he does. Many players, parents, and grandparents have said that coaching is exactly what he was meant to do.

We are extremely excited to announce our 9U Head Coach, Coach René!

Coach René is truly one of a kind. His coaching style reflects the way he carries himself every day—calm, cool, and collected. He has quickly become a fan favorite among Yu-Cal Generals parents, and while some may say it’s because he has the best shoes in youth football, those who know him understand it’s much more than that.

Coach René has a special way of connecting with his players. He holds them accountable while taking the time to teach and develop them every step of the way. He believes in building strong fundamentals, confidence, and character, ensuring every athlete understands not only what to do, but why they are doing it.

Once 5:30 PM hits and practice begins, Coach René brings a focused and disciplined approach to the field. He is firm, demanding, and committed to helping his players improve. At the same time, he never loses sight of what youth football should be about—making sure the kids are having fun while learning and growing through the game.

When practice ends at 7:30 PM, Coach René’s dedication doesn’t stop. He treats these young athletes as if they were his own children and welcomes parents as part of the Yu-Cal Generals family. His genuine care for the players and their families is what truly sets him apart.

We are incredibly excited about the future of this team and the culture Coach René is building. With the staff he is assembling and the leadership he brings to the program, the 9U Generals will definitely be a team to watch.

The Yu-Cal Generals Pop Warner Football Program is looking for players to help fill our final roster spots!

We are currently looking for:

🏈 5/6 Year Olds — Need 6 Players
🏈 10 Year Olds — Need 8 Players
🏈 13 Year Olds — Need 5 Players
🏈 Still accepting 11’s & 12 Year Olds

This is more than just local football. Pop Warner gives athletes the opportunity to play outside the bubble, compete against different teams, different conferences, and programs from across the country.

Our players have the chance to compete for a Mt. Baldy Conference Championship, advance to Regionals, and fight for an opportunity to play at Nationals.

Calling all Yucaipa, Calimesa, Beaumont, and Cherry Valley families — this is your chance to get your athlete ready for the upcoming season FOR FREE!

We’re looking for youth athletes who want to level up, get stronger, faster, and more confident before football season hits. If your athlete has been looking for a positive program with structure, discipline, and real coaching — this is it.
