We canāt expect to get to the finish line of any event we line up for without the ability to endureā¦
ā¢
In a world of ease, comfort, and endless conveniences itās all to easy to avoid risk, resist change, and chose an easier path.
ā¢
But as Mr Churchill insinuates, great experiences, performances, and results are possible when we eschew comfort, take chances, and develop resilience.
ā¢
No event this season has more overtly demanded its participants āendureā than UnBound gravel, a race that featured thunder, lighting, and torrential rain.
ā¢
For his part, said it was the hardest race he has ever done, and we seem to remember some horridly rainy conditions he rode through to win the Ridgecrest XC Classic some years ago.
ā¢
Despite the brutal conditions Kash never lost faith and continued to āfind moreā as he battled to the line.
ā¢
He finished in the top ten overall in the elite division and was the highest finisher of his MOG Squad team amidst a field of talented competitors. Itās a result and performance that Kash can be immensely proud of.
ā¢
For our part, we couldnāt be more proud of Kash or impressed by his stalwart commitment to ārace to the finish.ā
ā¢
Chapeaux Kash, you are an inspiration. That was a hard earned and well deserved result Big Dog!
