Today wasn’t pretty.

We made more errors than we’re used to. We had mental mistakes. We gave away outs, missed opportunities, and at times made the game harder on ourselves than it needed to be.

But if there’s one thing these girls proved, it’s that they never stopped fighting for each other.

Heads dropped. They picked them back up. No one quit.

Every time we got knocked down, someone stepped up. A big hit. A hustle play. An encouraging word in the dugout. They continued to battle, inning after inning, because they believed in the girl standing next to them.

Wins and losses matter, but learning how to respond when things aren’t going your way matters even more. We’ll clean up the mistakes. We’ll learn from the errors. We’ll grow from the tough moments.

But you can’t teach the kind of fight these girls showed.

Proud of this team for sticking together when it would’ve been easy not to. The scoreboard doesn’t always tell the whole story, and this weekend the story was about growth and perseverance.

Growth happens when things get uncomfortable, we were all uncomfortable this weekend. It’s time for us all to grow.

On to the next one. 🥎❤️🔥

LA SLAM 11U Softball is looking for highly competitive athletes who are ready to take their game to the next level. We are seeking players who are committed, coachable, and willing to be pushed in a challenging, team-first environment.

Our program competes in Class A tournaments against top competition and provides a highly competitive atmosphere focused on player development, teamwork, and accountability. We believe in coaching hard, competing hard, and preparing our athletes for success both on and off the field.

This past weekend, we claimed first place in the State Warm Up tournament! 🥇
The scorching summer heat presented a formidable challenge, but these girls persevered with grit and determination. The entire roster made HUGE contributions, which is our greatest win so far!
With players shining in new positions and batting slots, every girl on the team demonstrated adaptability and skill. I couldn't be more proud of this incredible group! As we gear up for our next tournament, the sky's the limit if we continue to grow, learn, and bring that champion grit to the field!
