The local memorial for Coach Keith Schneider ❤️ will take place on Friday December 5th from 3-7pm at Calvary Creek located at 217 Garber Rd. Broussard, LA 70518.
All friends & lacrosse families who wish to pay their respects are welcome.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Coach Keith Schneider.
​Coach Keith was a cornerstone of the sport of lacrosse in the Lafayette area. He was a co-founder of the Lafayette Lacrosse League (which led to the Youngsville Lacrosse League) and a dedicated Head Coach for the UL Ragin Cajuns Men's Lacrosse Team for many years. His love for the game of lacrosse led him to introduce the sport of lacrosse to over 1,000 kids across many public and private schools across Acadiana. His passionate leadership led the Ragin Cajuns to multiple LSA conference championships and an MCLA National Championship. He was known for his kind heart and his profound love for his loyal companion, his Great Dane, Rio. Their bond was a joyful part of his life, showcasing the warmth and gentleness he carried with him off the field.

Details regarding a local memorial service will be shared as they become available from Coach Keith's family.

​Our Coach Keith will be greatly missed. We promise that his legacy will live on through the Lafayette + Youngsville Lacrosse Leagues as we continue to bring the sport of lacrosse to as many as physically possoble.

Fall registration for middle school lacrosse is LIVE! Registration is open to ALL YMS 6th-8th graders, boys & girls as the LLL is co-ed.

YMS + ARCA fielded solid teams for the inaugural March 2025 season & we definitely want to see that grow + develop. Many of the 8th graders from March are now playing for Southside High School Lacrosse Club OR helping to continue growth at ARCA. We definitely want to keep that momentum going!

The LLL is open to all Lafayette/Acadiana area middle schoolers, so please feel free to share as we work to grow the game of lacrosse throughout the area to build as many local teams as we can.
