Thank you to each and every umpire who showed up to our 2026 clinic today in Raleigh. Despite a last-minute change to the location, we had more than 70 umpires and crew chiefs attend the in-class meeting on Saturday morning as we prepared for the 2026 baseball season! We covered everything from rule changes for the upcoming year, mechanics/rotations/responsibilities for new umpires, improvements that can be made this spring, summer and fall, and much more....

North Carolina Umpire Association (NCUA) is looking for umpires for the Raleigh area and Eastern North Carolina area for the 2026 season. Whether you are looking to work more baseball or get started in umpiring for the first time, we would love to have you join our team! Experienced officials will join one of the largest team of umpires in North Carolina and can umpire travel baseball nearly every weekend.
