Man, this one hurts. We qualified P2, took the lead on the first lap, and led all the way until lap 98 while holding a straightaway lead. Unfortunately, a lap car spun causing a caution, on the restart the car running second moved us out of the way. He had just a tick more speed, and I wasn’t able to get back to him.

It really stings after all the hard work we’ve put in trying to turn this luck around, but there are a lot of positives to take away. We finally showed the speed and progress we’ve been working so hard for, and that’s something to be proud of.

We know what we’re capable of now, and we’re hungry for that win! Can’t wait to get back at it. Onto Florence!

BACK TO Southern National Motorsports Park THIS WEEKEND!

The last time we raced here, we took home the win in the Limited Division at the 2024 Thanksgiving Classic! Hoping we can pick up right where we left off and chase down an LMSC win this weekend. Ready to get back on track and see what we can do!

I may not be racing tonight, but be sure to tune in to FloRacing and cheer on my boys in the 100-lap Limited race!

Andrew Sheffield Racing will be behind the wheel of the #54, which is actually the same car I’ve raced in Limiteds over the past three years! Leo Bennett Northam Racing will also be back in his #16.

Both guys showed really good speed during testing yesterday, and I can’t wait to see what they can do tonight!

This past weekend, we were finally back at Langley Speedway! We started the day off alright in practice, not exactly where we needed to be, but we had decent speed. We qualified P10, just lacking a little off the corner, and unfortunately, that issue carried over into the race and only got worse as the night went on. We would end up bringing home a P10 finish.

This year has been a very humbling one, with very few highs and more lows than I’ve ever experienced. Racing doesn’t always go the way you want it to, but you learn something from every weekend and keep pushing forward.

We’ve got a few more big races coming up, and I’m hoping we can turn this season around and finish the year on a high note. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us through the highs and lows.
