This MLB player’s mom made a hilarious offer for her son’s trading card 😂

When Kody Funderburk’s rookie card popped up on eBay for $99, his mom messaged the seller: “Seems like $99.00 is a lot for my kid. No?”

At home, the family has been collecting his cards and leaving empty spots in their display for the ones they’re still chasing.

In the end, Mom struck a deal and got the card for $60.

66-year-old Washington Hall of Fame CB Darrell Green, who will be 68 at the time, is seeking a spot on the Team USA flag football team for the 2028 Olympics 🥇

Callie Brownson, senior director of high performance for USA Football, says Green will be given a legitimate chance like all the others who qualified for the tryouts.

“Darrell qualified through our digital combine. He’s later in his career than the other trials participants, but his testing results were impressive,” Brownson told the Associated Press.

“Our coaches and staff felt he deserved a closer look. He’s a rare athlete who has stayed in shape and is ready to compete this week.”

“I’m going to give it my best, and I’ll walk away with my head up, either way,” Green said.

Green is considered one of the fastest players in NFL history, famously running a 4.2 40-yard dash at age 40 and a 4.43 at age 50. He was a four-time NFL Fastest Man winner, maintaining elite speed across his 20-year career (1983–2002).
