Hey guys, Mike Doherty checking in. Haven’t posted here in a while. A Cubs alumni’s parent is going through a super tough time. Darin is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met, and he is a single father of 3 boys, of which Dustin played for me about from 2013-2015.

He had a pretty bad stroke and the family has a gofundme set up. If you can donate anything, I know it would be a huge help. And if you’re not able to donate anything, if you could please take a moment and share the link, it would be a great help.

I told the boys before the season started, defense is going to win us games. Man have they responded, only allowing 8 runs in the first 4 games. Finn setting the tone on the mound tonight, then Pratt comes in next inning bases loaded no outs and strikes out the next 3 batters. Fitzy making his pitching debut in the majors and shutting down the next 3 innings. Luke, ,Chiodo, Jared and Colin slapping the leather. Keep it rolling!
