Here at Mount Marty, we are called to serve our communities. Whether this is the Mount Marty community, archery communities, the Yankton community, or our local home (wherever that may be) communities, we strive to use our talents to make a difference. What truly sets us apart from other schools and teams is our opportunity to serve others through discipline, teamwork, and giving back. From mentoring and helping others to supporting local initiatives, we take pride in using our skills to uplift those around us.

Mount Marty University’s Giving Day is coming up on March 18 and 19 —a time to celebrate and support the community that makes all this possible. The generosity of our MMU family allows us to grow as athletes and students and as servant leaders. Your support helps us continue to train, learn, and give back to others. Meet Chloe Madison, a senior at Mount Marty and one of our team captains in the compound division of the archery team. She has done a lot not only with her degree in Education, but also in her sport. In this Senior Spotlight, Chloe reflects on her growth, lifelong learning and experiences as a student-athlete at Mount Marty.

1. What’s your favorite aspect of the Mount Marty Archery team?
“What I like is that every year has been different. There’s always new people bringing in new insights and personalities into our sport, and lives.”
2. What’s one of your fondest memories of the archery team within your college career so far?
“Traveling to Outdoor Nationals and Vegas. Connecting with people of all ages through my sport has been some of the most memorable moments.”
3. How do you create a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team?
“Trying to continuously bring positive energy to the team, and promote growth mindsets when facing challenges.”
4. What is one thing you learned from your time here at Mount Marty that you will continue to use in your future endeavors?
"One of the core values at Mount Marty is Lifelong Learning, with being an Education major, I have had to be flexible, and continue to be adaptable in my everyday life.”

Every day is a gift, allowing us to experience what all Mount Marty has to offer. As we settle into a routine with our classes, events and practice schedules, we had the pleasure of welcoming Benny the Lancer to one
of our practice sessions! Just like with Benny,
we love welcoming new peers from all across the country and from around the world to join us in pursuing a degree while competing in our sport – with the world’s largest archery center as part of our training facilities right here in Yankton.

An unforgettable weekend at the 2025 NFAA Indoor Nationals in Chicago! 🏹🔥 Six team members made it to the podium, and we’re beyond excited to have Olympic silver medalist Aída Román officially joining us as our coach! 🎯 Her expertise and guidance are already making an impact.

Proud of everyone’s hard work and dedication—now it’s time to set our sights on Vegas! 🎰🏆 Huge thanks to our coaches, teammates, and supporters for making this an incredible experience. Let’s keep pushing forward! 💪
