🏁 RACE WEEK IS HERE! 🏁

Team Zero Racing is riding some serious momentum into this weekend’s CARS Tour West Pro Late Model race! 🟠⚫⚪

We’ve been working hard, learning every time we unload, and continuing to find speed every time we get back on track.

The goal this weekend is simple:

🔥 Keep building on the momentum
🔥 Unload fast
🔥 Put ourselves in position for a TOP 5
🔥 Finish what we’ve been working toward all season

The #021 Team Zero Racing Port City machine is ready to go, and the entire TZR crew is fired up!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who continues to support this team — our sponsors, crew, family, friends and fans. You are a big part of what makes this possible.

We’re not done yet. 💪

One team. One goal. ZERO excuses.

🏁 LET’S GO RACING!

CHECKED THE BOX! 🏁🔥

Team Zero Racing finally checked another box off the list!

We competed in our first-ever Summer Showdown in the Cars Tour Pro Late Model portion of the weekend, and came away with an unofficial 13th-place finish out of 26 cars!

More importantly, we continued doing what we’ve been doing all season long — when we get the opportunity to return to a track for the second time, we find more speed and continue to improve this car every single time.

That progress means a lot to us. It shows the hard work, dedication, and countless hours that this team puts in are paying off.

I cannot thank my team and our sponsors enough for everything they do to keep Team Zero Racing moving forward. There’s nothing better than seeing the people who support us get excited about what we’re doing and already looking forward to the next race. That’s what makes all the hard work worth it!

And now…

🔥 Lightning will be locked and loaded! 🔥

Team Zero Racing will make its second appearance at the Tricky Tri-Oval — Tri-Cities Raceway — this Labor Day!

We know what we learned the first time around. We know where we can improve. And we’re going back ready to find even more speed.

The best is yet to come.

Team Zero Racing Update

Unfortunately, Team Zero Racing will not be making the trip to Colorado National Speedway for this weekend’s CARS Tour event.

Following the unexpected loss of an engine and several major repairs, we’ve made the difficult decision to step back, regroup, and focus our time and resources on finishing our Northwest season the right way. While this wasn’t an easy decision, we believe it’s the best one for the long-term success of our team.

Our attention now turns to three of the biggest races of the year:

🏁 Summer Showdown
🏁 Labor Day Spectacular
🏁 Championship Weekend at Wenatchee Super Oval

Our goal is simple: come back stronger, build momentum, and end the season on a high note.

Racing is full of highs and lows. This is one of those moments that tests a team, but we know we’ll be back where we belong—on the track and competing at the front.

A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors, crew, family, and fans for standing behind us through every challenge. Your support makes Team Zero Racing possible, and we’re more motivated than ever to finish this season strong.

We’ll see you all at the Summer Showdown.

Idaho 200 Race Recap

What a weekend!

After years of coming up just short, Team Zero Racing finally broke through and qualified for our second Idaho 200 at Stateline Speedway—a huge milestone for our team.

We came out strong in qualifying with a personal-best 13.2-second lap, which put us 24th overall and sent us to a qualifying heat race.

Quick Results

• Qualifying: 24th overall with a personal-best 13.2-second lap
• Heat Race: 3rd place, sending us to the LCQ
• LCQ: Finished 2nd and transfer into the main event
• Main Event: 11th place

We finished third in the heat race, which sent us to the LCQ. Needing to finish fourth or better to make the Idaho 200, the pressure was on. The team rose to the challenge, and we did what we needed to do to lock ourselves into the main event.

When the green flag dropped for the Idaho 200, our goal was simple: race smart, stay patient, and be there at the end.

Unfortunately, we were caught up in an on-track incident that damaged the left front wheel and suspension. Even with the damage, this team never gave up. We battled through the adversity and crossed the finish line in 11th place.

While we always race to win, an 11th-place finish after everything we faced is something we’re proud of. Every lap taught us something, and every race makes us stronger. We’ll build on this momentum and come back even better.

A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors for believing in Team Zero Racing:

A very special thank you to Jeff and everyone at Jefferson Racing for your continued support—not only throughout this season, but especially during the Idaho 200 weekend. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

And finally, thank you to the best crew anyone could ask for. Tanya Shoemaker, Patrick Mullins, Steve Berven, and Randy Genz—your countless hours, hard work, and dedication kept us in the race when things got tough. This finish belongs to all of you.

Thank you to our family, friends, and fans who continue to stand behind Team Zero Racing. Your support means the world to us.

We’re already looking ahead to the next one. See you at the track!

WE DID IT!!! 🏁

After many years of trying and coming up just short, Team Zero Racing is officially headed back to the Idaho 200 at Stateline Speedway!

We qualified with a personal-best lap of 13.2 seconds, putting us 24th overall. That left us just outside the 15 locked-in positions, meaning we had to race our way into the field.

First up was the qualifying heat race, where only the top two would advance. We gave it everything we had but came home 3rd, sending us to the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).

The LCQ was our final opportunity. We started 2nd and finished 2nd, earning our spot in the Idaho 200!

This is one of the toughest races in the Northwest, and the level of talent that shows up every year is simply incredible. To finally race our way into this event means the world to our entire team.

I can’t thank Tanya, Patrick, Steve, and Randy enough for all of your hard work and dedication. This accomplishment belongs to every one of you just as much as it does to me.

A huge thank you to Jeff and everyone at Jefferson Racing for your continued support—not just throughout this season, but especially this weekend. Your help, encouragement, and willingness to lend a hand made a big difference, and we’re incredibly grateful to have you in our corner.

To all of our sponsors—thank you. Your belief in Team Zero Racing has helped make this possible, and now your support will be represented on one of the biggest stages in short track racing.

Now it’s time to focus on the main event. Let’s go racing!
