WASD Mourns Dr. Corey Jones

With deep sadness, we continue to mourn the loss of Dr. Jones—a beloved leader, educator, parent, and cherished member of the Wyomissing community. His impact on our schools and the lives of our students, staff, and families was immeasurable.

In honor of his life and legacy, Wyomissing Area School District will be closed on Thursday, January 29, allowing our staff time to pay their respects and reflect. Dr. Jones believed deeply in relationships, compassion, and ensuring every student felt known and valued.

We are grateful for the support and understanding of our families and community during this difficult time.
