Region 2 North 2024 Sailplane Contest The dates are subject to change until the SSA approves and sanctions the contest for 2022.

Dates for 2024 are...the weekends of May 31-June 2 and June 7-9 with the weekdays filled with grand prix style racing ( not to be scored as a part of the Sanctioned Competition) to give the off days an added element of fun and excitement.

Congratulations to all the daily contest winners. And to the overall winners of our Region Two North contest at Wurtsboro.
Six contest days and one practice day with incredible weather. We were able to fly every day. I can’t think of another contest in the north east where that’s ever happened.
Keep us in mind for 2025. Wurtsboro is a great place to learn if you’re a newbie. And a great place to fly no matter what.
