14 hours at the field and these girls never stopped competing.

Saturday was a long one, but this team showed what they’re made of...hard work, supporting each other, pushing through tough moments, and learning every step of the way. After getting down early in the day, they battled their way back through the bracket to reach the championship game, ultimately coming up just one run short and taking home 2nd place.

From the first pitch in the morning to the final out that night, these girls competed for each other every step of the way. Proud of the effort, the teamwork, and the growth we’re already seeing every time they step on the field.

Exciting times ahead for this team!

We’re excited to welcome Aliya Suthar to GA Impact!

Aliya will be wearing #58 this season, and we’re thrilled to add her talent to the roster. She is a skilled pitcher with great composure in the circle, and defensively she brings an incredibly strong arm, making her a valuable addition both on the mound and in the field.

Outside of softball, Aliya loves swimming and stays active year-round. Her favorite treat is Sour Patch, and she looks up to Sam Landry as her favorite college player—an influence that drives her determination and presence in the circle and on the field.

We’re excited to welcome Mackenzie Bateman to GA Impact!

Mackenzie will be wearing #25 this season, and she brings a standout presence to the field. She has a natural read on the ball and consistently turns tough fly balls into routine outs. Offensively, she’s a lefty with a powerful slap game, blending strength and speed to keep defenses guessing. Her quick first step and aggressive baserunning make her a fun player to watch and a challenge to contain.

Away from the diamond, Mackenzie stays active with flag football and basketball, and she loves spending time with her family and friends. Her go-to snack is Lay’s potato chips, her favorite candy is gummies, and she’s inspired by Dallis Goodnight, the former UGA centerfielder known for her elite defense and speed—traits Mackenzie is building into her own style of play.

We’re excited to welcome Raegan Heald and to GA Impact!

Raegan will be wearing #24 this season and brings an exciting dynamic to the field. As a lefty slapper with tons of speed, she’s always a threat to get on base and cause chaos for defenses. She plays with a scrappy edge, competitiveness, and a positive spirit that lifts her teammates and energizes the entire team.

Off the field, Raegan is full of creativity and fun—she enjoys drawing, crafts, and spending time with her family & friends. She’s also recently taken an interest in learning how to hunt, embracing new challenges with the same drive she shows on the field.

Her favorite snacks include Salt & Vinegar Pringles, popcorn, and vanilla ice cream, and when it comes to candy, she loves anything Blue Raspberry. Raegan looks up to several standout athletes, including Brooke Kell (OF, Georgia Southern University), Aubrey Leach (Former 2B, University of Tennessee), and—of course—her mom, Lauren Heald, a former CF at NC State University.

Zuri will be wearing #23 this season, and she brings an incredible combination of talent and athleticism to the field. She’s a dynamic player with a big bat, a talented pitcher with command and confidence, impressive speed, and a high softball IQ that elevates every part of her game. Whether she's in the circle, at the plate, or making plays, Zuri is a true difference-maker.

Off the field, Zuri enjoys cheerleading, showing the same energy and enthusiasm she brings to softball. Her favorite candy is Nerds Gummy Clusters, and she looks up to standout college player Sara Mosely, whose strength and presence inspire her approach to the game.

Elsa will be wearing #14 this season and brings a powerful presence paired with a great attitude that lifts everyone around her. She’s a versatile player who can make an impact all over the field and will also be a valuable asset in the circle, adding depth and competitiveness to the pitching crew.

Off the field, Elsa loves drawing and painting, letting her creativity shine in everything she does. Her favorite snacks are fruits, especially green grapes and mango, keeping her fueled and ready to go.

Off the field, Paisley enjoys drawing and never turns down a bag of Taki’s, her favorite snack. She also looks up to two standout college players—JJ Sweat (Berry College) and Ansleigh Broome (Anderson University)—who inspire the way she approaches the game.

Off the field, Mia's creativity shines with her love for arts and crafts. When it comes to treats, she’s all about Kit Kats, and you’ll often catch her snacking on sour cream & onion chips. She also enjoys cheering on her favorite college player, Ansleigh Broome, which adds to the passion she brings to the game.

Off the field, Dru enjoys hiking, loves Airhead Extremes, and never turns down spicy chips. She also enjoys cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers softball team and brings that same energetic spirit to the field.

We’re excited to welcome Kylie Sanderson to GA Impact!

Kylie will be wearing #1 this season and brings great speed, athleticism, and skill behind the plate as a talented catcher. She’s a hard worker with a competitive edge that will be a fantastic addition to the team.

When she’s not playing softball, you can probably find her practicing Taekwondo, enjoying some ice cream, or cheering on her favorite college player, NiJaree Canady from Texas Tech.
