We are so thrilled to welcome Megan Lysgaard to the PDC teaching faculty!

Mrs. Megan recently moved to SC from the Santa Clara, CA area. She has a BA in Dance from San Jose State University, and has been ballet director at the very reputable HeartBeat Dance Academy for over 5 years.

Megan is truly cream of the crop when it comes to youth ballet instructors and we are very excited to have her knowledge and talents in the building as we work to grow our students! 🩰

We’ve heard the Woodruff community, and we’re adding to our schedule to make more room for both our current dancers and new students looking to join PDC!

Our morning classes have officially wrapped up, and it feels SO GOOD to have our dancers back in the studio!

We can’t wait for even more dancing, smiles, and fun this afternoon and all week long!

In just TWO DAYS, we’ll open our doors for the 2026–2027 Main Season! 💙✨

We can’t wait to see what SZN 2 holds for PDC and the 115 students who will be walking through our doors for lessons this week!

To our PDC families: thank you for trusting us with your child’s dance education. We are so proud to provide excellent technical training, but PDC is about so much more than dance. We have a genuine passion for children and for creating a positive, encouraging place where they can learn, grow, build confidence, and feel at home.

We are incredibly grateful for this community and SO excited for the year ahead!

We wrapped it up by running through solos, duos, trios, and small groups! So proud of all the hard work these dancers have put in over the last few days!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Ebonie for coming in to choreograph our Hip Hop large group! 🔥 We can’t wait to see this one come together!
