As promised, the next three days will be on Calories, Protein, Carbs, and their importance. Today will be CALORIES!!!! Which is basically a unit of energy. I’m not going to go into the scientific bulls**t of it, but your body NEEDS calories to survive. They are ESSENTIAL for human health. How much you need depends on many factors, s*x, height, weight, activity level etc. if you want to lose weight, healthily, try aiming for 500 calories less than your Basic Metabolic Rate. Message me if you need help figuring that out. Try not go TOO much into a deficit, as body functions will go down if they don’t have the energy they need. Also, please, please please don’t do those extreme low calorie diets, yes you will lose weight, but putting your health is jeopardy is not worth it. Going OVER on your calories leads to one thing, weight gain. A good way to track your calories is with the . Most people don’t understand how many calories they are actually taking in until they start tracking. For a lot of people just starting to track what they eat starts their weight loss journey in the right direction. This kinda short because I’m limited on the amount of characters I can use.
