It was a HOT one today, but our boys pushed through it! Our Tackle 1 and Tackle 2 teams fought hard and while the scoreboard didn’t go our way, we’re proud of the heart and effort they showed today especially in the heat!

AND OUR FLAG 1 BOYS GOT THE WIN!!! 🔥These boys got into the end zone and MADE IT HAPPEN! We are so proud of them.

Important updates regarding tomorrow’s game scheduling. Refer to your CCYFL team GroupMe for team arrival times and updates.

❗️IMPORTANT TIME CHANGE FOR TOMORROW❗️

Jr Tackle will be playing FIRST. Players need to be at the field at 9am. Game will start at 10am

Sr Tackle will play SECOND. Players need to be at the field by 10 am, game will likely start around 11:30am.

Flag 1 will play THIRD. Players need to be at the field by 12:15, game will likely start around 1:15pm.

Flag 2 will play LAST. Players need to be at the field by 1:30pm, game will likely start around 2:15pm.

Admission is $5-it will be ❗️💵CASH ONLY 💵❗️to get in.

Richland Jr Pro will be offering a small concession stand where will you find drinks, chips, small popcorn and a variety of candy. The menu pricing is attached to this post. That will be 💵CASH ONLY💵 as well.

There will be food trucks available that will take cash or card! They will be:

Kona Ice 🍧❄️
Amigos 🌯🌶️🌮

We will also be selling our football programs for $8/piece! Be sure to stop by the tent and buy one to support the players!

We understand it’s going to be HOT tomorrow. Personal fans, pop up canopies, umbrellas and neck towels are allowed into the game!

Personal drinks/personal coolers WILL NOT BE ALLOWED in to the game. We encourage you to visit our concession stand or the food trucks 🤗

We are excited to get our football season started, and we hope to see everyone at the game supporting these players and cheerleaders!

6th GRADE PARENTS!

For any 6th graders still wanting to play football, we have a couple of spots we would love to fill!

If your son or daughter wants to be competitive, build confidence, work hard, and grow alongside their peers, this is a great program for them! We’d love to have them be a part of the team and the experience this season.

THE ABSOLUTE LAST DAY FOR SIGNUPS IS TOMORROW, AUGUST 10TH!

We need everyone’s registration packet, sports physical, and league dues turned in by tomorrow. Dues are $70 for Flag or $120 for Tackle. You can come to Dillon Park tomorrow from 6–8 PM to turn everything in. Please make sure you get everything taken care of because tomorrow is the FINAL deadline!

Practice this week will be Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 6–8 pm. Some coaches may have different practice end times, so please refer to your child’s team GroupMe for specific practice information.

A few important reminders before our first official practice!

The absolute last day to turn in registration paperwork, league dues, and a current sports physical is Monday, August 10th. If you still have anything left to turn in, please stop by Dillon Park tonight or Monday from 6-8 pm.

Tackle parents: Don’t forget mandatory helmet pickup is Friday from 6-7 pm at the middle school equipment shed. We posted all the details earlier today and in GroupMe.

For Monday’s practice, all players (Flag & Tackle) need to bring:
* Water bottle
* Cleats
* Mouthpiece

Tackle players will also need to bring their helmet.

Parents, please stop by the check-in table tonight or Monday before your athlete hits the practice field. We want to make sure all paperwork is complete and confirm your athlete’s jersey size if we haven’t already.
