In the rush of packing up after the last tournament after a long day, I noticed this folded American flag sitting off to the side.

What struck me was that someone had taken the time to fold it properly.

Not because anyone told them to.
Not for recognition.
Just out of respect.

In a moment where everyone was exhausted, trying to clean up, load cars, and get home… someone still paused long enough to honor what the flag represents.

I think Memorial Day is a good reminder for all of us to pause, reflect, and remember the people who gave everything so we could have the freedoms we often take for granted.

Sometimes respect is shown in the quiet moments.
