Most agents miss this about [PRODUCTION DIRECTIVES — follow exactly, do NOT read these lines aloud]
OPENING: Open on a strong hook in the first 3 seconds. NEVER open with a self-introduction or greeting — do not start with "Hi", "Hello", "Hey", "I'm ...", "Welcome", or the speaker's name. CRITICAL: the FIRST SENTENCE must contain NO personal name anywhere in it — not "Al", not "Victoria", not the speaker's name. Names are NOT hooks. Open on a feeling, a bold or contrarian claim, a number, or a question. You MAY name the presenters later in the body, never in the first sentence.
VOICE: The presenter speaks in FIRST PERSON, directly to camera ("you", "I", "we"). This is NOT a story about someone else — never narrate in third person. Do NOT say "she", "her", "he", "in the mirror", "her reflection", or any novel-style narration. Every line is the presenter talking to the viewer.
SPEAKER IDENTITY: The on-camera presenter is Al Pinder (a man). Do NOT add a self-introduction just to name them. But IF any name is spoken or shown for the presenter, it must be "Al" and never any other name — for example, an Al video must never introduce or refer to the speaker as Victoria, and must never guess a different name.
LOCATION (HARD RULE): The speaker is a North Carolina-based agent and the setting shown on screen is North Carolina — maps, labels, and location footage are North Carolina, never South Carolina. The narration MAY name another U.S. state for comparison; the home/subject state is North Carolina.
