What an incredible weekend!!
Ayden Singleton finished 7th in the state and earned his spot on that podium and we could not be more proud. Standing on that podium isn’t just about one weekend… it’s about the early mornings, the late nights, the tough practices, the sacrifices, the losses that teach you, and the heart it takes to keep showing up. Ayden showed grit, determination, and toughness every single step of the way. To finish where he did against that level of competition speaks volumes about who he is, not just as a wrestler, but as a person. Ayden, you represented our program, your family, and yourself with nothing but pride. Hold your head high, you earned every bit of that moment.
While Lamar Primis and Michael Marshall didn’t find themselves on the podium this year, make no mistake, what they accomplished is something special. Just stepping onto that mat at this level is something most kids their age will never experience. It takes courage, discipline, and a whole lot of heart to even get there. They battled, they competed, and they left everything they had out on that mat. That alone is something to be proud of. We stand with them, and we stand proud of them. This is not the end of their story, it’s just another chapter that’s building something even bigger.
Another huge moment for our Creek family was middle schooler Isaiah Gotshcall, who brought home a 4th place finish at OHWAY states! While he’s not currently in our youth program, he came to the Creek family this season, and that means something. He is a true example of what hard work, dedication, and belief can turn into. Our younger wrestlers have someone to look up to, and Isaiah continues to lead by example in the best way possible.
After everything was said and done, Isaiah crossed paths with Lamar back at home. In that moment, he made sure Lamar knew how great he is and told him to keep pushing forward. That right there… that’s bigger than medals, bigger than wins, bigger than placements. That’s what this sport is about. Brotherhood. Respect. Lifting each other up when it matters most.
Isaiah, we are incredibly proud of you, not just for your 4th place finish, but for the young man you are and the example you continue to set. Your accomplishment is amazing, and your character makes it even more special.
To all FOUR of these boys, and every athlete who stepped on that mat this weekend, we see you, we respect you, and we are proud of you. This weekend was about more than wins and losses… it was about heart, growth, and the kind of moments that stick with you forever.
Creek family forever ❤️💛
