What a team!! STC Jerseys on every athlete!! A Board Members dream!!!

This is from 2011 or 2012, at a TBF Club Championship Race. Championship Races were big events then and super-competitive, with Chico and Reno coming to town to play hard!!

Yep, that's my bike being towed like broken-down minivan.

Flat tire, spare was no good, on Hwy 267 in the middle of the Martis Valley - My wife calls AAA and they come out to tow me to the Bike Shop (thanks, Pacos!). Best of all, it was free with our paid membership with AAA.

The tip here - If you get stuck somewhere on your bike, and have AAA, give them a call and they'll get you to the closest repair shop.

Here is a hearty "Congratulations" to Reed T from the STC Gang. You really represented at this one, Reed! Great Finish and an amazing Run!!

Also, congratulations on your Entry into Worlds in Nice, France!! You deserve it. We will be watching and rooting for you on that one as well!! Go STC!!!

It's been just about a week since this race, but we wanted to give a shout out to Joyce L for her great performance at Alcatraz. 2nd Place Podium, Baby!!

We were slow getting this out because we were hoping for a really cool photo of Joyce during the event. Alas, she could not be reached for comment.

We are very proud of you on this accomplishment, Joyce. Keep doing the hard stuff.

We are a bit late with this.

It was a very busy week.

However, it is Friday and athletes are heading to Boulder for their race this weekend. Here's wishing Reed T good luck on his race. We'll be tracking you and sending out good vibes! Go STC!!

This throwback has a story.

Before I tell it, take a good, up-close look at the photo. Why is one guy running in a beach towel and in flip-flops? Why is a future-President running in flip-flops? Why is another guy running in after-race attire and in flip-flops? And where are the race bibs on most of the athletes?

This is from a 2007 or 2008 TBF Club Championship at Granite Bay. If you raced it, you know that this is the final stretch to the finish line.

Suzanne ( #263) was the oldest athlete on the course and the only one in her age group. Getting her across the finish line meant winning the club championship for STC. These team members made sure that she made it to the finish. And she did! The rest of the story is in the TBF History Books.

This is the kind of moment that makes being in a club and showing up for each other a great experience. Keep supporting each other and keep doing the hard stuff.

All of those miles in the winter are paying off. This weekend, STC is racing in the June Tri For Real and Tri for Fun at Rancho Seco, put on by our friends at TBF Racing. And, just a little bit further from home, STCers are racing at Escape from Alcatraz in San Francisco, Ironman 70.3 Omaha, and Ironman 70.3 Subic Bay in the Phillipines.
