Logan Crowley- Sumner- basketball - had 39 points (18-24 FG) and 14 rebounds in 82-57 win over Narraguagus. Had 22 points in 66-29 win over Searsport. Crowley was voted male athlete of the week. He joins Damon Warren (10-28-18) and Bristol Parritt (10-19-24) as student/athletes from Sumner High School that have earned athlete of the week honors.

Excited to see some future tigers in the stands! 🐅

We’re thrilled to invite all future Tigers to join us for our high school basketball game on December 23rd at 5pm!

During the game, we will celebrate young athletes from Cave Hill, Ella Lewis, Peninsula School, and Mountain View School who are currently participating in youth sports (such as basketball, cheer, & wrestling). If permitted, we encourage all youth athletes to proudly wear their sports uniforms to the game.

Youth athletes will receive free admission, so bring your team spirit and join us for an exciting night of basketball!

Please note, middle school athletes will be recognized at a separate game, with the date to be announced soon. We can’t wait to see a big crowd cheering on our team!

Had a great weekend competing with some former players of mine that I’m fortunate enough to also call my friends ✊🏻 It means a lot to me that they reached out and asked me to be on their team!

These boys represent Sumner Basketball well; they play a tough brand of ball but are truly some of the nicest and respectful young men you could meet. I’m so proud to say that I was able to be a part of their journeys in both athletics and life, and I never take an opportunity to set an example for the younger generation of players for granted! 💙

Huge thanks to Jason Snider for organizing a great tournament, and congrats to Cherryfield Elementary’s 8th Grade Class for raising lots of money for their class trip! 🎉
