🏒 The 2026 10,000 Shot Challenge is officially underway! 🏒

The challenge runs from June 1st through September 30th, giving players the perfect opportunity to sharpen their skills and prepare for the upcoming season. Are you ready to level up your game?

Last night’s NHL Network premiere was an incredible success with 80+ people showing up to support our hockey community and celebrate this amazing moment together.

Big moment for Winona skating ⛸️👏

Jon Pettit has become the first male skater in the Winona Figure Skating Club to pass a U.S. Figure Skating skills test — a milestone that highlights both his hard work and the growth of the sport in our community.

What makes it even more impressive? Jon didn’t start in figure skates. After 6–7 years playing hockey, he made the jump just two years ago — proving it’s never too late to try something new and chase a different path on the ice. He also continues his passion as a youth hockey player with the Winona Area Youth Hockey Association! 🏒

Through dedication, persistence, and a willingness to step outside his comfort zone, Jon worked his way through the fundamentals — from bunny hops to spirals — and passed his first official test in the U.S. Figure Skating progression system.

This is more than a personal achievement — it’s a sign of how figure skating in Winona continues to evolve and grow.

The Figure Skating Club also plays a huge role in supporting hockey in our community, helping develop WAYHA players through the Learn to Skate program and Skills Nights for all levels. ⛸️🏒

The Winona Bantam A turned heads in Mason City, cruising to a tournament championship and bringing home the title 🏆

🏒🔥 Winona youth hockey was on a roll! First up the Winona Peewee C Team put together an incredible season, finishing 2nd at districts 🥈 and showing grit, teamwork, and heart every step of the way.

Winona’s Peewee C (sixth and seventh grades) team put together a strong season highlighted by two tournament championships and a runner-up finish in the District 9 year-end tournament.
