These three youngsters—Chaos, Reno, and Legend—are always looking for a little attention! 😂🐴

If there’s something going on, you can bet these three want to be right in the middle of it. They may be young, but they’ve already figured out how to keep the Broken Spoke crew smiling! 🤠❤️

Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE sharing these majestic Clydesdales with everyone. They bring smiles to so many faces, and it means the world to us to let people meet, pet, and enjoy these gentle giants.

That’s why it truly saddens me to have to make another post about the safety of our horses.

We are starting to find things in their pens, feed buckets, and water tanks that horses should never be eating or drinking. I truly believe some people may not understand just how dangerous this can be. Something that seems harmless to a person can cause a horse serious illness, injury, or even become life-threatening.

Our horses are our family. ❤️🐴

We will be putting up signs asking everyone PLEASE DO NOT FEED OUR HORSES ANYTHING. We want everyone to continue enjoying these amazing animals, but their safety has to come first.

If we continue finding things in their pens, feed buckets, or water tanks, we will unfortunately be forced to take additional measures to protect them.

Please help us keep these gentle giants safe. If you see someone feeding them or putting something into their pens, please kindly remind them of the danger.

We want to keep sharing our horses with you — we just need your help keeping them safe. ❤️

🤠 After two busy days of showing, it’s time to load up and hit the trail! 🐴

There’s something pretty special about watching these guys know exactly what time it is. After a successful event, they calmly take their place in the trailer and get ready for the ride home.

We’re tired, they’re tired, but everyone did their job and made us proud! ❤️

There’s no better feeling than ending a great event with the Broken Spoke crew loaded up, headed home, and already looking forward to the next stop.

Until next time, boys… let’s hit the trail! 🤠🐴💨

🤠 DAY 2 AT THE KANSAS STATE FAIR! 🐴

What a busy day full of excitement, fun, and a whole lot of Clydesdale action! ❤️

The best part was having both our children and grandchildren right there beside us. They all pitched in—showing, harnessing, washing, and helping with everything it takes to make a day like this happen.

It truly takes a horse family to make it all come together, and we couldn’t be prouder of the next generation learning, working, and making memories right alongside us.

These moments are what Broken Spoke Clydesdales is all about—family, horses, hard work, and memories that will last a lifetime. 🐴❤️🇺🇸

🤠 WHAT A DAY AT THE KANSAS STATE FAIR! 🐴🏆

It was an action-packed day for the Broken Spoke Clydesdales, and these gentle giants sure showed up ready to compete!

We kicked things off with the Men’s Cart Class, bringing home a 3rd-place and a 5th-place finish! 🥉🏅

Then this evening, the 4-Horse Hitch hit the arena and finished a strong 2nd place! 🥈

And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, Hunter climbed aboard and drove the Team Class for Broken Spoke—and brought home a 1st-place victory! 🏆🥇

What a way to finish the day! We couldn’t be prouder of our horses, our drivers, and this incredible Broken Spoke family. Tomorrow, we saddle up and do it all over again! 🤠💪🐴

🤠 WELL, COWBOYS AND COWGIRLS… LOOK WHO JUST RODE INTO THE KANSAS STATE FAIR!

The Broken Spoke Clydesdales have arrived, and we’re ready to kick back, enjoy the weekend, and soak it all in! 🐴

No big agenda—just family, friends, good horses, and catching up with our fellow hitch families. That’s what this cowboy life is all about.

So grab your hat, bring the family, and come enjoy the Kansas State Fair!

LET’S MAKE IT ONE HECK OF A WEEKEND! 🤠🐴🇺🇸

After several weeks of “boot camp” with Freeman Yoder, our girls, Denver and Cricket, are finally home! ❤️🐴

There’s something pretty special about watching young horses grow, learn, and become part of the team you’ve worked so hard to build. We couldn’t be more proud of these two girls and the journey they’ve started.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Freeman Yoder for giving his time, patience, knowledge, and experience to get Denver and Cricket started in harness. We are so grateful for the foundation he has given them.

And a huge thank-you to Elyse, owner of Dashboard Horse Co., for getting our girls safely to Freeman and safely back home again. Knowing they were in such good hands made this part of their journey so much easier.

Freeman and Elyse are both truly the best at what they do, and we feel incredibly blessed to have people like them helping us along the way.

Now they’re home where they belong, back with the rest of their Broken Spoke family. ❤️

We couldn’t be prouder of Denver and Cricket, and we absolutely cannot wait to watch these two girls grow into their place in the hitch and see where this journey takes them! 🇺🇸🐴❤️

This isn’t a post I really like making, but with so many folks visiting—and planning to visit—our amazing horses, there are a few things we kindly ask everyone to keep in mind.

Our Clydesdales are part of our family. Just like people, horses can have different sensitivities to foods and substances. Something that may seem harmless to one horse can make another very sick, and in some cases, it can be life-threatening.

We also ask that you please never throw anything into their pens or at the horses to get their attention. Our horses are curious, and just like children, they will chew, lick, or swallow things they shouldn’t. Something as simple as a piece of trash, food, or an unknown substance can have heartbreaking consequences.

Having our horses in public settings gives us the incredible opportunity to share these majestic animals with people all across the country, and we truly love seeing the smiles they bring. But it also comes with some challenges and risks that we can’t always control.

Our hope is that someday we can build a barn and pens on our own property where we can better regulate their surroundings and hopefully prevent some of these tragic situations from ever happening.

We want everyone to enjoy, love, and admire these beautiful Clydesdales just as much as we do. ❤️🐴

Please help us keep them safe. They aren’t just horses to us—they’re family. 🤠❤️
