Team 4 had a great showing at the annual Firecracker 5k in Guin Al. Audrey Patton won overall female and Stella Walker won first in her age division. Even Coach Stovall and Coach Barnett got in on the medal action placing in their respective age groups. 🏃🏃‍♀️🇺🇸🧨💪💪

Winfield XC’s Team 4 is being represented all over this great nation. Jolene Ballard competed in the Captain Andy’s Cutler Harbor 5k in Maine this morning. Winning 1st in her age group and 2nd female finisher overall! Congrats Jolene and Go Pirates!! 🏃‍♀️🔥🏆

A parent meeting will take place Monday evening, June 1st in the Winfield City middle school lunch room at 6PM.

If you have an athlete running for Team 4, please make plans to attend. I understand some people are vacationing. If so, please reach out to me and let me know. I have to have a final count and sizes for uniforms and tees.

Meeting & Sign Up!

Current XC runners and Winfield City High School students interested in running cross country in the fall should come to the library on Friday, May 15th during break (9:25 to 9:37) to sign up and receive information about summer workouts. I look forward to seeing you there!

If you have a 6th, 7th, or 8th grader that would like to run cross country in the fall for Winfield City High School, we will hold a workout Wednesday 5/13 immediately after school. You MUST HAVE a physical to be able to participate. The school will be providing physicals on Friday, May 8th for $10. Please see Coach Stovall for more information.
