Meet our Boys Cross Country Head Coach, Lavania!

Lavania is a Robert C. Byrd alumna and was a Cross Country and Track and Field athlete. She accomplished two 1st Team All-State honors with the Eagles in Cross Country.

She continued her athletic and academic career at Davis and Elkins.

Her coaching background includes two seasons at Hurricane Middle coaching Cross Country, and one season coaching Track and Field.

She is the current head coach for Winfield Middle School Track and Field and is our current Winifeld High School Boys Cross Country coach. This will be her 2nd year at the helm for the Winfield Generals.

Meet your Winfield Girls Cross Country Coach, Hunter Sheldon!

Hunter is a Winfield alumni and a successful runner himself. Hunter was a Parkersburg South XC and Track assistant Coach for two years, and a Winfield Track assistant for 1 year.

Hunter was an assistant coach for the 2024 WHS Track State Championship-winning team!

Hunter has been our Head Girls XC Coach and Head Boys Track coach for the past 2 seasons.

We are lucky to have Hunter at WINfield!
