Somewhere along the way, “I can handle it myself” started sounding like strength.
So we carry it ourselves.
Figure it out ourselves.
Struggle quietly.
Keep going without asking for help.
And sometimes even convince ourselves that needing someone beside us means we’re not strong enough.
But look at how God designed the body.
No part does everything.
Some parts move.
Some stabilize.
Some connect.
Some support.
Every part has a job. And every part matters.
Paul uses that same picture when he talks about the body of Christ:
“From him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body…”
— Ephesians 4:16 CSB
That’s one reason ALIGN 39 workouts are built around partners and groups.
You still do your reps.
You still carry your weight.
You still have to do the work.
But you don’t have to do it alone.
Some days, the person next to you keeps going—and you take another rep because they did.
Some days, they’re struggling—and you’re the one who reminds them to keep going.
That matters.
Because strength isn’t only about what you can carry by yourself.
Sometimes strength looks like knowing how to support and be supported.
Christ is the head.
We are the body.
Each of us has a part.
And when every part shows up and does its work, we grow together.
That’s bigger than a workout.
TRAIN IT HERE.
LIVE IT OUT THERE.
ALIGN 39
Train the body.
Renew the mind.
Anchor the soul.
What to do next: Don’t just ask, “Who can help me?” Ask “Who can I show up for today?”
